Back to the Future Boxed TUBBZ Marty McFly Review - This Is Heavy, Duck!

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads - but we definitely need this duck! 🚙✨ Hey collectors, it's T.D. here, and I'm thrilled to share one of the most iconic time-traveling collectibles to hit the shelves: the Back to the Future Boxed TUBBZ Marty McFly NS4609. If you grew up in the '80s or just love classic sci-fi adventure, this duck is about to become your new favorite desk companion.

The Time-Traveling Icon Takes Duck Form

This Boxed TUBBZ edition captures Marty McFly in all his 1985 glory. From the moment you see this duck, you'll recognize the orange puffer vest, the denim jacket, and that unmistakable look of someone who's just realized they've accidentally invented rock and roll thirty years too early. The sculpt perfectly captures Marty's youthful energy and that "wait, what year is it?" expression that defined the entire trilogy.

The attention to detail here is fantastic. Marty's iconic outfit is rendered beautifully on the duck body, with his red-and-orange vest catching your eye immediately. The denim texture on the jacket looks great, and they've even included little touches like the plaid shirt underneath. His sneakers are sculpted with care, giving him that authentic 1985 skater-kid vibe. This isn't just a duck - it's a time capsule of '80s cool.

Paint and Finish: Back to the Quality

The paint application on this Tubbz is excellent. The colors are vibrant and true to the film, with that signature orange vest popping against the blue denim. The face details are clean and expressive, capturing Marty's youthful charm. There's a nice matte finish on most of the duck that gives it a premium feel, while certain details have a subtle sheen that adds depth. The color palette perfectly evokes that '80s movie magic we all love.

Feel and Presence: Heavy Doc

In hand, this Boxed TUBBZ has a satisfying weight that speaks to its quality. It's not overly heavy, but there's enough heft to let you know this is a premium collectible. The balance is perfect - Marty stands confidently without any wobbling, ready to skateboard through your collection. At the standard Tubbz size, it fits beautifully on any shelf, desk, or display case. The boxed edition means you get gorgeous packaging that's perfect for keeping or displaying alongside the duck itself.

A Personal Time Travel Memory

I still remember the first time I watched Back to the Future. I was about ten years old, staying up late at a friend's house during a sleepover. When Marty jumped on that skateboard and grabbed onto the back of that truck, I was hooked. We must have rewatched that scene five times. "This is heavy," became our go-to phrase for everything for weeks after. Getting this Tubbz brought all those memories flooding back, and I love having that piece of my childhood right here on my desk.

As Doc Brown would say: "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything." And the designers at Tubbz definitely put their minds to this one. This duck captures everything we love about Marty McFly - the courage, the style, and that fish-out-of-water charm that made him such an unforgettable character.
