The Smurfs Movie Figure Barrel Cup 22oz - Megaplex 2025
Hey there, fellow collectors! Ready for the latest sipper coming to your favorite movie theater?
Megaplex Theatres is bringing home a charming piece from The Smurfs Movie with the Smurfs Movie Figure Barrel Cup, a 22oz sipper that transforms a classic Smurf house into a functional drink container. Released alongside the film in 2025, this sipper captures the whimsical spirit of Smurf Village with a sculptural approach that collectors will appreciate. If you have been building a collection of movie theater exclusives or love character-driven designs, this one delivers personality in every sip.
Design Details
The Figure Barrel Cup showcases a three-dimensional Smurf character sitting on top of a sculpted mushroom house, honoring the iconic Smurf Village aesthetic that fans have loved for generations. The barrel-style body features bright, saturated colors with clean detailing that brings the character and structure to life. At 22 ounces, the cup hits that sweet spot for theater drinks without feeling too bulky to carry or display later. The construction is sturdy plastic with a snug lid and straw, making it both functional for your movie night and shelf-safe for long-term collecting.
The sculpting stands out here. The Smurf figure is expressive and charming, and the mushroom house base has textured detailing that makes it feel like a miniature world. The lid integrates smoothly into the design, maintaining the visual flow rather than disrupting it. Collectors who focus on character accuracy and thematic cohesion will find this sipper hits all the right notes.
For a movie theater sipper, the attention to character likeness and environmental detail is impressive. This is a cup that works just as well on a shelf as it does in a cupholder.
Collector Notes
This sipper was a Megaplex Theatres exclusive tied to The Smurfs Movie release in 2025. Megaplex often carries franchise tie-ins that complement broader theatrical releases, and this sipper fits into that pattern. As a movie theater collectible, availability was limited to participating Megaplex locations and likely tied to concession combo deals, so stock may have varied by theater.
Rarity depends on how widely this was distributed across Megaplex markets and how long it remained available during the film's theatrical run. Collectors should note that movie theater sippers tied to animated family films tend to move quickly, especially when character sculpts are this detailed.
Display-wise, the Figure Barrel Cup is compact and visually engaging. The Smurf figure on top gives it vertical interest, making it pop on a shelf with other movie theater sippers. Pair it with other animated character cups or group it with the other Smurfs Movie items from Megaplex, like the Smurfette House Popcorn Container or the Double Wall Dome Cup, to build out a themed display.
This sipper appeals to Smurfs fans, animated film collectors, and anyone who appreciates sculptural drink containers that go beyond standard theater branding.
Final Thoughts
The Smurfs Movie Figure Barrel Cup from Megaplex is a well-executed sipper that balances character charm with practical design. Whether you are adding it to a Smurfs collection, building out your movie theater sipper lineup, or just love character-driven drinkware, this 22oz cup delivers on both fronts. If you spot one, do not pass it up.
