2025 Topps Disney Wonder #163 Raya Cartoon Princess - Warrior Heart Base Set Magic
Hey there, Disney card collectors and Kumandra warriors! 🏰
Oh my goodness, friends! Today I'm absolutely thrilled to share one of the most empowering cards from the 2025 Topps Disney Wonder base set with you all. Card #163 features none other than Raya in her gorgeous Cartoon Princess styling, and I have to tell you - this card captures everything I love about one of Disney's most courageous heroines. Raya and the Last Dragon holds such a special place in my heart, and seeing her immortalized in this beautiful base set card just fills me with joy!
Let me tell you about this stunning piece. The Topps Disney Wonder 2025 collection has been delivering absolute magic all year long, and this Raya Cartoon Princess card is no exception. The illustration style perfectly captures Raya's fierce determination and warrior spirit while maintaining that classic Disney Princess elegance. You can see the strength in her eyes, the confidence in her stance - this is a princess who doesn't wait to be rescued, she does the rescuing! The color palette is rich and vibrant, featuring those beautiful teal and burgundy tones that are so iconic to Raya's character design.
In a world that needs trust and unity, Raya shows us that courage and hope can bridge any divide.
The card design itself is quintessential Topps Disney Wonder. The base set cards have this wonderful clean aesthetic that lets the character artwork really shine, and card #163 is a perfect example of this philosophy. The Cartoon Princess designation gives Raya that timeless, animated storybook quality that makes these cards feel like little windows into the Disney magic we all know and love. It's not just a trading card - it's a piece of Disney storytelling you can hold in your hand.
What I absolutely adore about this card is how it celebrates Raya as both a warrior and a princess. She's dressed in her iconic adventure outfit, ready to journey across the fractured lands of Kumandra, sword at her side. This isn't your traditional ball gown princess moment, and that's exactly what makes it so special and so Raya. She represents a new generation of Disney heroines who are strong, capable, independent, and absolutely inspirational.
For collectors focusing on building the complete 2025 Topps Disney Wonder base set, card #163 is an essential addition. The base set spans the entire magical spectrum of Disney characters, and having Raya represented among the Cartoon Princess subset is so important. She stands alongside Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and all the other beloved princesses, bringing her unique Southeast Asian-inspired heritage and modern warrior energy to the collection.
Now, I have to share a quick personal story. When I first saw Raya and the Last Dragon, I was immediately transported back to my childhood trips to Walt Disney World. There's something about the way Disney creates these immersive worlds - whether it's walking down Main Street U.S.A. or watching Raya navigate the Dragon Gem's chambers - that just makes you believe in magic again. I remember standing in the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom portal at the Firehouse on Main Street, holding my spell cards and feeling like I was part of an epic adventure. That same feeling of being part of something bigger, of trust and teamwork, is exactly what Raya's story is all about.
Collector's Corner
From a collecting standpoint, this card fits beautifully into multiple collection themes. Obviously, it's a must-have for anyone building the Princess subset of Topps Disney Wonder. But it's also perfect for collectors who focus on modern Disney animation, strong female characters, or even those building a Southeast Asian representation collection within Disney. Raya broke important ground as Disney's first Southeast Asian princess, and having her card in your collection celebrates that cultural milestone.
The base set cards from Topps Disney Wonder 2025 are wonderfully accessible for collectors at all levels. While chase cards and parallels can get pricey, base cards like #163 give everyone the opportunity to own a piece of this gorgeous set without breaking the bank. That democratic approach to collecting is something I really appreciate about Topps Disney products - there's something for everyone, from the casual fan to the serious collector.
For display purposes, this card looks absolutely stunning in a standard nine-pocket binder page. I love arranging my Princess cards chronologically or by color scheme, and Raya's rich teal and burgundy tones create beautiful visual flow next to cards featuring characters like Moana or Mulan. If you're going for individual card protection, a penny sleeve and top loader will keep this beauty safe while still letting you appreciate the artwork. Some collectors even frame their favorite Princess cards, and I have to say, card #163 would look gorgeous matted and framed on a Disney-themed wall!
The Topps Disney Wonder brand has really established itself as the premier Disney trading card line. Following in the footsteps of earlier Topps Disney releases and complementing sister products like Topps Chrome Disney, the Wonder line brings that classic base card accessibility combined with stunning artwork and thoughtful character selection. Whether you're ripping packs hoping for hits or building your base set card by card through singles, the journey of completing this set is part of the fun.
What makes card #163 particularly special is how it captures Raya at her most iconic. This isn't a random scene or a generic pose - this is Raya as we remember her best, ready for adventure, embodying courage, and representing everything that makes her such an inspiring character. The Cartoon Princess style gives her that timeless quality that will make this card a treasure for years to come.
The Magic of Topps Disney Wonder
The 2025 Topps Disney Wonder set has really outdone itself in terms of character representation and artistic quality. From classic characters to modern heroes like Raya, every card feels carefully crafted and lovingly designed. The base set serves as the foundation, quite literally, for the entire product line, and cards like #163 show why that foundation is so solid.
For those new to collecting Topps Disney products, the Wonder line is a fantastic starting point. The base cards are affordable, the artwork is gorgeous, and the character selection spans the entire Disney universe. You can build theme collections (all Princesses, all villains, all sidekicks), color-coordinated displays, or work toward that satisfying complete set. And with insert sets, parallels, and special chase cards available, there's always another level to explore if you want to dive deeper into the hobby.
I absolutely love that Topps Disney Wonder includes characters from Disney's most recent films. Too often, trading card sets focus heavily on classic characters (which I love, don't get me wrong!), but seeing Raya, Asha, and other modern heroes represented shows that Topps understands their audience wants the complete Disney experience, past and present. Card #163 bridges that gap perfectly - a contemporary character rendered in that timeless Cartoon Princess style.
Whether you're a Raya super-fan, a Disney Princess collector, a Topps Disney Wonder set builder, or someone who just appreciates beautiful trading card art, card #163 deserves a spot in your collection. It's affordable, accessible, stunning to look at, and represents an important character in Disney's ever-evolving story. Plus, every time you pull this card from your binder or see it displayed on your shelf, you'll remember Raya's message about trust, unity, and the power of believing in something bigger than yourself.
So what are you waiting for, collectors? Hunt down card #163, add it to your collection, and let Raya's warrior spirit inspire your own collecting journey. Trust me, this is one base set card that punches way above its weight in terms of beauty, significance, and pure Disney magic. Your collection will thank you!
Happy collecting, and may your pack pulls always be magical! 💜 Tilly
