2025 Topps Chrome Disney Kermit the Frog Card #122 - It's Not Easy Being Green Chrome
Hey there, card collectors and Muppet lovers! ✨ Can you believe the magic we get to experience when chrome meets felt? Today I'm absolutely thrilled to share one of the most charming additions to the 2025 Topps Chrome Disney base set!
Meet Card #122: Kermit the Frog
When I first pulled this card from a pack, I literally gasped. There he is, our beloved Kermit the Frog, immortalized in that gorgeous Chrome finish that makes every card in this set absolutely shine. Card #122 captures Kermit in all his amphibian glory, and the Chrome treatment brings out every detail of his iconic expression and that wonderful shade of green we all know and love.
The 2025 Topps Chrome Disney set has been absolutely phenomenal at bringing our favorite characters to life with that signature refractor shine, and Kermit is no exception. The chrome finish catches the light beautifully, creating rainbow reflections that dance across his features. It reminds me of how the afternoon sun sparkles on the water at the Magic Kingdom, especially when you're waiting for the Festival of Fantasy parade to start.
Sometimes the most magical cards feature the characters who taught us that being yourself is the greatest adventure of all.
Why This Card Belongs in Your Collection
Kermit the Frog has been a beloved part of Disney's family for years, ever since Disney acquired The Muppets. His appearances at the parks, especially at Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios, have created countless magical memories for guests of all ages. I remember meeting Kermit at Disney's Hollywood Studios during one trip, and his witty banter with Miss Piggy nearby had everyone laughing. That same charm and personality shine through on this card.
As a base set card, #122 is accessible to collectors at all levels, whether you're chasing the complete 2025 Topps Chrome Disney set or simply want to add this lovable frog to your character collection. The base set cards form the foundation of any great collection, and having Kermit as part of that foundation feels absolutely perfect.
The Chrome Factor
What makes Topps Chrome cards so special is that distinctive finish. It's not just a regular card, it's a card that seems to glow with its own inner light. The chrome technology creates depth and dimension that standard cardstock simply cannot achieve. When you hold this Kermit card at different angles, you'll see how the colors shift and shimmer, almost like he's about to burst into "Rainbow Connection" right there in your hands.
For those of us who use the Collectiblz app to track our collections, marking this Kermit card as "Have" feels especially satisfying. There's something wonderful about seeing your set completion percentage climb, and having Kermit join your digital checklist brings you one step closer to that perfect 100%.
Display Ideas and Collection Tips
This card deserves premium protection to preserve that chrome finish. I recommend a quality top loader at minimum, though a one-touch magnetic holder really showcases the card beautifully. If you're building a character-focused collection, Kermit pairs wonderfully with other Muppets characters from the set, creating a fantastic themed display.
For binder collectors, consider dedicating a page to Muppets magic or grouping Kermit with other green characters like Tinker Bell, Pascal, or the incredible Hulk (if you collect across multiple Disney properties). The visual appeal of seeing these cards together, all with that signature Chrome shine, is absolutely delightful.
Part of Something Bigger
The 2025 Topps Chrome Disney set represents a comprehensive celebration of Disney's vast character roster, from classic animated features to Pixar masterpieces to beloved properties like The Muppets. Card #122 sits within a base set that tells stories, celebrates heroes and villains, and captures the essence of what makes Disney magic so enduring.
Whether you're a completist aiming for the full base set, a Muppets superfan, or simply someone who appreciates quality trading cards with incredible visual appeal, this Kermit the Frog card deserves a spot in your collection. It's not easy being green, but it's definitely easy loving this Chrome card!
Happy collecting, and may your packs be ever filled with rainbow connections! 💚 Tilly
