LEGO Zombie Storage Head (5009862): Quirky Storage with Character
Storage That Actually Smiles (Kind Of)
Let's be honest: most storage solutions are boring. But the LEGO Zombie Storage Head is designed for builders who think boring is a four-letter word. It's a removable-lid storage container shaped like a zombie minifigure head-and somehow, it works.
The Small version is perfectly sized for a child's room, a playroom shelf, or even an AFOL's sorting station. At 17.99, it's affordable enough to grab multiple and stack them (yes, they're designed to stack). The durable plastic holds up well, and the lid lifts off cleanly without being flimsy. You can actually use this thing for storage without worrying it'll break after a week of real-world use.
What makes it special is the design. The zombie face has that classic LEGO minifigure charm, rendered in muted grays and creepy details. It's geeky without being over-the-top-the kind of decorative-meets-functional piece that tells visitors something about your taste. Kids love it because it's fun. Adults love it because it actually solves a storage problem while looking cooler than a plastic bin.
The best storage is the storage you actually want to see every day.
Practically speaking, inside capacity is generous. You could use it for loose bricks, hair accessories, action figures, art supplies, or anything that needs organizing. Stack two or three of these together-either matching or mixing with other LEGO storage heads in different styles-and you've got a playroom installation that's both organized and genuinely fun to look at.
The stackability is key. Unlike a one-off novelty storage piece, this ecosystem approach means you can expand as your collection or storage needs grow. Pair it with other themed storage heads from the LEGO collection to create a display that reflects your personality.
For builders or LEGO enthusiasts with kids (or AFOL collectors who like fun organization), this is a no-brainer. It's the kind of gift that parents appreciate because it actually helps with tidiness, and kids appreciate because it's genuinely cool. I've added it to my needs list in Collectiblz-perfect for a playroom makeover.
Available through LEGO.com and retailers worldwide, for ages 3 and up.
