LEGO Batman v Superman Batmobile (76331) - Gotham Meets Metropolis in Brick-Built Glory
Brick Builders Assemble!
If you've been waiting for the perfect intersection of DC super heroes and seriously cool vehicle design, the Batman v Superman Batmobile delivers exactly what you're looking for. This is the sleek, armored beast that roared through the 2016 film, and LEGO has captured its aggressive, tactical design in a buildable collectible that looks incredible on display and feels fantastic in hand.
Set 76331 brings the Batmobile from one of DC's most epic showdowns into your collection. This isn't your classic curved-fin Batmobile from the animated series or the tank-like Tumbler. This is Ben Affleck's tactical war machine: angular, heavily armored, and absolutely loaded with weaponry. The build captures that menacing silhouette beautifully, with sharp angles, dark gray plating, and those distinctive front-mounted cannons that make this version instantly recognizable.
The piece count here is perfectly balanced for an afternoon build session. You'll get enough complexity to stay engaged without committing to a marathon weekend project. The construction uses some clever techniques to achieve the vehicle's low, wide stance and those aggressive aerodynamic lines. I particularly love how the designers handled the angular cockpit canopy and the layered armor plating along the sides. There's real attention to detail in how the panels stack and overlap to create that tactical, battle-ready aesthetic.
The way this Batmobile captures the film's design language in LEGO form is genuinely impressive. Every angle feels purposeful and aggressive, just like Batman's approach to taking on Superman.
Color-wise, you're looking at a predominantly black and dark gray palette, which is exactly right for this version of the Dark Knight's ride. The build incorporates translucent elements for the headlights and cockpit, adding just enough contrast to break up the darkness without compromising that stealth aesthetic. The wheels are chunky and purposeful, giving the model a grounded, ready-to-roll presence on your shelf.
For collectors, this set hits a sweet spot in terms of price-per-part value at $29.99. It's accessible enough for younger builders who loved the film, but detailed enough that adult fans will appreciate the engineering and display value. The Batmobile fits beautifully into any DC or Batman-themed collection, and it pairs perfectly with other Batman v Superman sets or broader DC super hero builds.
One of the best aspects of this build is how sturdy it feels once complete. The construction creates a solid, swooshable vehicle that can handle a bit of play without pieces popping off everywhere. The cockpit opens to reveal interior detailing, and there's enough room to imagine Batman strategizing his next move against the Man of Steel.
Display and Collection Ideas
This Batmobile looks absolutely killer on a shelf, especially when paired with other DC vehicle builds. Consider displaying it on a dark baseplate or elevated shelf with dramatic lighting from below to emphasize those angular lines. If you've got other Batman vehicles in your collection, this one creates a fantastic timeline of Batmobile evolution.
For MOC builders, this set is a goldmine of dark gray slopes, plates, and specialty pieces that work beautifully in custom vehicle builds or urban dioramas. Those angular panels and weapon elements can be repurposed into all kinds of tactical builds. And if you're into alternate builds, the dark palette and wheel elements lend themselves well to custom military or sci-fi vehicle creations.
The set also works wonderfully as part of a larger DC display. Pair it with Batman minifigures from other sets, create a miniature Gotham street scene, or build a simple Batcave garage using basic bricks and your imagination. The Batmobile's compact footprint means it doesn't demand tons of shelf space, but it still commands attention wherever you place it.
Final Thoughts
The Batman v Superman Batmobile is a solid addition to any LEGO DC collection. It delivers film-accurate design, satisfying build techniques, and excellent display value at a price point that won't break the bank. Whether you're a DC super hero collector, a Batmobile completist, or just someone who appreciates a well-designed vehicle build, this set deserves a spot in your lineup.
