2026 Topps Disney Neon #162 Elliott - Base Set Dragon Magic
Hey there, Disney magic makers! 💚🐉
Happy collecting, friends! I just pulled the most enchanting card from my 2026 Topps Disney Neon pack, and I absolutely had to share it with you all. Card #162 features none other than Elliott, the lovable invisible (well, sometimes!) dragon from Pete's Dragon, and let me tell you - this card is pure Neon magic wrapped in green dragon scales!
Elliott Takes Flight in Neon Glory
The 2026 Topps Disney Neon #162 Elliott Base Set card captures everything we adore about this gentle giant. Elliott glows with that signature Neon brilliance that makes this product line so special. The vibrant greens and purples shimmer across the card surface, perfectly capturing Elliott's magical, shimmering appearance from the films. Whether you're a fan of the classic 1977 animated version or the heartwarming 2016 live-action remake, this card honors both interpretations of our favorite dragon friend.
The Neon treatment really brings Elliott to life. You can almost see him turning invisible and reappearing again, just like in the movies! The base set design showcases Elliott in all his dragon glory, and the Neon glow adds that extra touch of wonder that makes you feel like you're right there in the Pacific Northwest forest with Pete.
A Dragon-Sized Dose of Nostalgia
I have to share a quick memory - when I visited Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom a few years ago, I stumbled upon an Elliott plush in the Emporium on Main Street. I couldn't resist bringing him home! Every time I look at that plush on my shelf (yes, right next to my binder of Disney cards), I remember the magic of that trip. There's something so special about Elliott's story of friendship, loyalty, and believing in the impossible.
Sometimes the most magical friendships are the ones others can't see - but true believers always know they're real.
That's what makes Elliott such a perfect addition to the Topps Disney Neon lineup. He represents the pure magic and wonder that Disney storytelling brings to our lives. Pete's Dragon reminds us that sometimes the most extraordinary adventures happen when we open our hearts to believe in something magical.
Collector Notes: Where Elliott Fits in Your Collection
The 2026 Topps Disney Neon #162 Elliott card is part of the Base Set, which means it's accessible for set builders and character collectors alike. While base cards are generally more common than inserts or parallels, don't underestimate the appeal of this gentle dragon! Elliott may not be as widely collected as Mickey or the Disney Princesses, but that's exactly what makes him special for fans of deeper-cut Disney characters.
If you're building the complete 2026 Topps Disney Neon set, Elliott is essential. For those of you who focus on specific character collections, this is a must-have if you love dragons, Pete's Dragon specifically, or classic Disney live-action films. The Neon glow treatment makes this feel extra special compared to standard base cards from other sets.
Display Ideas and Collection Magic
I'm planning to slide my Elliott card into a penny sleeve and top loader to preserve that gorgeous Neon finish. The shimmer on these cards is too beautiful to risk any edge wear! If you're like me and love themed binder pages, Elliott would look amazing paired with other magical creatures from Disney films - maybe alongside Mushu from Mulan, Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon, or even Maleficent in dragon form!
For grading enthusiasts, keep an eye on centering and corners with Neon cards. The dark borders can show any white spots or edge wear, so if you're lucky enough to pull a pristine Elliott, it might be worth getting it graded. While base cards don't typically command huge premiums, a high-grade Elliott could be special for character-specific collectors.
And if you're tracking your collection progress in the Collectiblz app (which I absolutely recommend!), don't forget to mark Elliott as "Have" in your 2026 Topps Disney Neon checklist. There's something so satisfying about watching that completion percentage climb!
Why Elliott Matters
In a hobby filled with princesses, heroes, and villains, Elliott represents something beautifully different. He's a reminder that some of Disney's most touching stories come from unexpected friendships and believing in magic even when the world tells you not to. Pete's Dragon may not get the same spotlight as Frozen or The Lion King, but for those of us who love it, it holds a special place in our hearts.
This card celebrates that gentle, kind-hearted dragon who would do anything to protect his friend. The Neon treatment gives Elliott the sparkle and shimmer he deserves, making this base card feel like something truly special in your collection.
Happy collecting, dragon friends! May your packs be filled with Neon magic and your collection overflow with wonder! 💚🐉✨
