2025 Topps Chrome Disney #193b Sisu VARVAR: In Human Form - Base Set Chrome Transformation Magic
Hello, fellow collectors and Raya fans! 🐉💙
Can we just talk about how absolutely magical this card is? I just added the 2025 Topps Chrome Disney #193b Sisu VARVAR: In Human Form to my collection, and I am completely enchanted. This is the variant version showing Sisu in her adorable human form, and the Chrome finish makes her transformation shimmer with pure Disney magic.
Raya and the Dragon Dreams
If you haven't seen Raya and the Last Dragon, first of all - what are you waiting for? It's one of Disney's most beautiful animated films, full of Southeast Asian-inspired culture, stunning landscapes, and a story about trust and unity. And Sisu? She's absolutely the heart of the film. Awkwa-thank you very much!
When Sisu transforms into her human form to blend in with the people of Kumandra, she becomes this goofy, wide-eyed, slightly-awkward-but-totally-lovable character. And this card captures that perfectly. The Chrome finish highlights her bright smile, her colorful outfit, and that sense of wonder she has about the human world.
Trust is like a flowing river - when you work together, it can carve new paths and bring people together.
Chrome Magic Meets Southeast Asian Beauty
The Chrome treatment on this card is absolutely stunning. Sisu's human form features vibrant purples, blues, and teals that just pop against the Chrome background. Her outfit is detailed and beautiful, inspired by traditional Southeast Asian clothing, and every fold and pattern catches the light. The expression on her face radiates joy and curiosity, and you can almost hear her saying "Is this a gift shop?"
This is card #193b from the 2025 Topps Chrome Disney Base Set, and the "b" designation means it's a VARVAR (variant) card. While card #193 shows Sisu in her majestic dragon form, this 193b variant gives us her human transformation. It's like having two sides of the same character, and true Raya fans will want both versions.
Why Sisu Matters
What I love about Sisu is that she's not your typical dragon. She's funny, she's insecure, she makes mistakes, but she never gives up on believing in people. Her human form represents her willingness to be vulnerable and connect with others - even when it's scary. This card captures that beautiful message of trust and hope.
The film taught us that unity is stronger than division, that trust must be earned through action, and that even the last dragon can feel like she's not enough. Sisu's journey from self-doubt to heroism is incredibly moving, and having her human form in Chrome is like holding a piece of that journey.
Collector Notes: VARVAR Magic
For collectors, this variant card is special. Here's what you need to know:
- Base Set card #193b - VARVAR (variant) parallel showing Sisu in human form
- 2025 Topps Chrome Disney - part of the main Chrome Disney release
- Chrome Refractor technology gives the card that signature rainbow shimmer
- Perfect for Raya and the Last Dragon fans and dragon collectors
- Pairs beautifully with card #193 (dragon form Sisu) for a complete transformation set
- Features Southeast Asian-inspired design and clothing details
The VARVAR cards in Chrome Disney tend to be a bit harder to find than the base versions, so if you spot this one, don't hesitate. Sisu in human form is such a fun and unique moment from the film, and it's not often captured in trading cards.
Display Ideas
I have my Sisu human form card displayed in a magnetic one-touch holder so the Chrome can really shine. I've paired it with card #193 (dragon Sisu) in matching holders, creating a before-and-after transformation display. They look absolutely stunning together on my shelf, and every time I walk past them, they catch the light differently.
If you're building a Raya and the Last Dragon collection, this card is a must-have alongside Raya, Namaari, Tuk Tuk, and the other dragon cards. You could also create a "Disney Dragons" display featuring Sisu, Mushu, Elliott, and Maleficent in her dragon form.
My Collection Journey
I actually spotted this card at a local card shop while browsing their Chrome Disney singles. The shop owner had just pulled it from a fresh box, and when I saw Sisu's human form sparkling under the display lights, I knew I had to have it. I've marked it as "HAVE" in my Collectiblz app under my Topps Chrome Disney checklist, and it's one of my favorite recent additions.
If you're tracking your Chrome Disney collection, I highly recommend using the Collectiblz app. You can mark cards as "Have" or "Need," track your completion progress, and keep notes on which variants you're hunting. For a set as large as Chrome Disney with all its parallels and variants, having that digital checklist is a lifesaver!
Final Thoughts
The 2025 Topps Chrome Disney #193b Sisu VARVAR: In Human Form is pure magic. It celebrates one of Disney's most unique and heartfelt characters, showcases beautiful Southeast Asian-inspired design, and gives us a rare glimpse of Sisu's transformation moment. Whether you're a Raya superfan, a dragon collector, or someone who appreciates diverse Disney storytelling, this card belongs in your collection.
Trust in the magic, believe in second chances, and keep collecting those Disney wonders!
