2026 Topps Disney Neon #90 Chick Hicks - Base Set Racing Rivalry Chrome Magic
Hey there, fellow collectors! 🏁
Happy racing day! Whether you're chasing down the Piston Cup or building your ultimate Topps Disney Neon collection, today I'm absolutely thrilled to share one of the most deliciously villainous cards from the 2026 Topps Disney Neon base set: card number 90 featuring none other than Chick Hicks himself!
Meet Your Favorite Villain on Chrome
Oh my gosh, can we just talk about how perfectly this card captures Chick's competitive swagger? The 2026 Topps Disney Neon #90 Chick Hicks base set card brings that unmistakable green racing machine to life with the signature Neon glow that makes this product line so incredibly special. That brilliant emerald shine combined with Chrome's reflective finish creates a card that practically radiates speed and attitude, just like Chick himself on the racetrack.
The card showcases Chick in all his glory, complete with that trademark smirk and the Hostile Takeover Bank sponsorship prominently displayed. The Neon treatment gives his green paint job an electric quality that seems to vibrate with energy when you tilt the card under the light. It's like watching him zoom past on the track, except you get to hold this moment forever in your collection.
Why This Card Speaks to My Heart
You know what I love most about collecting Disney cards? They transport me right back to those magical movie moments. Every time I look at this Chick Hicks card, I'm immediately at the Los Angeles International Speedway, watching the big race unfold. I can practically hear his voice saying "Ka-chicka!" in my head.
I remember visiting Cars Land at Disney California Adventure and seeing those beautiful recreations of Radiator Springs. The attention to detail Imagineers put into bringing the world of Cars to life reminded me so much of what Topps does with these Neon cards. They're not just pieces of cardboard; they're portals to the stories we love.
In a world of champions, sometimes the rival makes the story complete.
The Topps Disney Neon Base Set Magic
This Chick Hicks card is part of the 2026 Topps Disney Neon base set, which means it's foundational to your complete Cars collection within this product line. While base cards are generally more accessible than inserts or parallels, don't let that fool you into thinking they're any less special. The Neon glow technology applied to the base set gives every single card that premium feel.
For set builders, Chick Hicks #90 is an essential piece of your Cars character run. If you're focusing specifically on villains or racing characters, this card absolutely deserves a spot in your collection. And let's be honest, no Piston Cup storyline is complete without Lightning McQueen's biggest rival on the track.
Pairing Perfection and Display Ideas
I keep my Chick Hicks card in a Crystal Clear top loader right next to my Lightning McQueen Neon card. The green and red side by side? Chef's kiss! The contrast is absolutely stunning, and it tells the whole rivalry story at a glance. Some collectors I know have created entire racing-themed binder pages with all the Cars characters from the Neon set arranged by their Piston Cup standings.
If you're really into the villains angle like I am, consider creating a "bad guys" display with Chick Hicks alongside other Disney antagonists from the set. The Neon glow on each card creates this incredible cohesive look that's perfect for showing off at card shows or just admiring during your evening collection review sessions.
And here's a fun idea: if you've got any diecast Cars from your Disney Parks trips tucked away in your collection drawer, they look amazing displayed alongside these Neon cards. I have a tiny Chick Hicks car from my last Disneyland visit sitting right in front of this card on my shelf, and it creates the cutest little racing scene.
Mark It in Your Collectiblz App
Don't forget to hop into the Collectiblz app and mark this card as "Have" once it joins your collection! There's something so satisfying about seeing that completion percentage tick up, especially when you're working on completing the entire 2026 Topps Disney Neon base set. Trust me, tracking your progress makes the hunt even more exciting.
Final Thoughts from a Fellow Racer
Whether you're team Lightning or secretly rooting for the underdog villain, the 2026 Topps Disney Neon #90 Chick Hicks base set card deserves a place in your collection. The combination of that signature Neon glow, the Chrome finish, and one of Cars' most memorable characters creates a card that's simply irresistible.
Ka-chicka, collectors! May your packs be ever in your favor, and may this green machine find its way into your binders soon!
- 💚 Tilly
