Colorado Avalanche Arrow Hockey Puck by Mustang Drinkware - Mile High Burgundy and Blue Pride on Official NHL Rubber
Burgundy, Blue, and the Mountain That Moves
Hey there, fellow puck collectors! 🏒 If you have been looking for a sharp souvenir puck that puts the Colorado Avalanche's iconic colors front and center, Mustang Drinkware's Colorado Avalanche Arrow Hockey Puck is exactly what your display is waiting for.
The Avalanche are one of the most storied franchises in modern NHL history. Born from the relocated Quebec Nordiques in 1995, Colorado wasted no time making their mark -- they won the Stanley Cup in their very first season in Denver in 1996. Two more championships followed in 2001 and 2022, cementing the Avs as one of only a handful of franchises that have gone undefeated across all of their Stanley Cup Final appearances. That is a legacy worth celebrating, and this puck does it with style.
What Makes the Arrow Design Stand Out
Mustang Drinkware's Arrow series is a fan-favorite line across the NHL, and the Colorado Avalanche edition is no exception. The arrow graphic styling gives the puck a bold, modern look that pairs the team's burgundy and blue color scheme with distinctive directional design elements. It is not a replica of a game-used puck -- this is a souvenir collectible built for display and for showing your Avs pride every single day.
The puck is constructed on official NHL-specification vulcanized rubber, the same 6-oz black rubber used in real game play. That means it has the right heft, the right feel, and the right look on any shelf, shadow box, or display case. The graphics are applied with clean print quality that holds up over time when kept out of direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
Physical Details and Construction
- Official NHL rubber: regulation weight and diameter (3 inches wide, 1 inch thick, approximately 6 oz)
- Colorado Avalanche Arrow design with burgundy, blue, and white colorway
- Manufacturer: Mustang Drinkware -- known for licensed NHL souvenir puck production
- Full-surface graphic wrap with team branding and logo elements
- No authentication hologram or COA -- this is a souvenir puck, not game-used
A well-designed souvenir puck is the handshake between a team's brand and a collector's shelf. The Avs Arrow puck does that job with confidence -- bold colors, clean lines, and enough personality to anchor a display without demanding all the attention.
Who Is This Puck For?
Whether you are just starting your hockey puck collection or adding a Colorado-specific piece to fill out an NHL franchise set, this puck punches above its price point. It is ideal for:
- Avs fans who want a display-ready puck with modern graphic design
- Collectors building team-by-team NHL souvenir puck sets
- Gift shoppers looking for something more unique than a jersey or hat
- Anyone who wants a piece of Avalanche pride on their desk, mantle, or fan cave wall
The souvenir vs game-used distinction matters in this hobby, and there is absolutely no shame in the souvenir side of the ledger. These pucks are officially licensed, made to the same rubber specs as game pucks, and represent the team's identity in a compact, durable collectible form. 🎯
Display and Storage Tips
To keep this puck looking great for years, a few simple habits go a long way:
- Store in a clear acrylic puck cube -- protects from dust and UV without hiding the graphics
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade printed colors over time
- If combining with other Avs memorabilia, a shadow box with a team photo or small jersey panel makes for a compelling wall display
- Handle with clean, dry hands -- oils from skin contact can dull the surface finish over time
Pair it with other Mustang Drinkware Avs pucks for a themed Colorado corner in your collection, or mix it into a broader NHL Arrow series set alongside your Rangers, Panthers, and Capitals editions. 🥅
The Colorado Avalanche have given us three championship memories and some of the most electric hockey moments of the last 30 years. This Arrow puck is a small, satisfying way to keep that energy in your space every day. ⭐
