Florida Panthers Gear Hockey Puck by Mustang Drinkware - Back-to-Back Champions Glory on Official NHL Rubber
When the Cat Came Back - Twice
There are moments in hockey that flip the script on an entire franchise, and the Florida Panthers have lived two of those moments back to back. When you hold the Florida Panthers Gear Hockey Puck by Mustang Drinkware, you are holding a piece of rubber that carries the full weight of that achievement - a souvenir that puts two Stanley Cup championships right in the palm of your hand. 🏒
The Panthers went from a franchise that had never won the Cup to a back-to-back dynasty in the span of two electric seasons. The 2024 Final against the Edmonton Oilers was a Game 7 thriller. The 2025 rematch was equally dramatic, capped by Sam Reinhart's four-goal performance in the clinching game. For fans who watched through the lean years, the drought, the rebuilds - this puck represents something far bigger than a collectible. It represents vindication. ⭐
About This Gear Hockey Puck
This officially licensed souvenir puck from Mustang Drinkware features distinctive Florida Panthers graphics rendered directly on the standard NHL-specification rubber disk. The "Gear Hockey Puck" designation from Mustang refers to the gear-themed graphic treatment - a bold, equipment-forward design that leans into the sport itself rather than a single logo treatment.
At the standard 3-inch diameter and 1-inch thickness, this puck matches the weight and feel of the real thing. Mustang Drinkware has become one of the go-to names for team-branded souvenir pucks in the licensed collectibles market, and their Florida Panthers line consistently showcases the blue, red, and gold color palette that makes this franchise so visually distinctive on ice.
What Makes the "Gear" Design Stand Out
Not every puck in your collection needs to shout "championship." Sometimes the best piece is one that celebrates a team at the purest level - their gear, their sport, their identity. The Gear Puck from Mustang uses a more equipment-centric graphic motif, making it a natural complement to the Arrow puck and other logo-forward designs in the Mustang Florida Panthers line.
If you are building a Florida Panthers display, having multiple Mustang puck designs side by side creates a cohesive shelf moment. The Gear Puck tends to read as "franchise pride" rather than "specific event," which gives it staying power across seasons and beyond any particular championship run.
"The best souvenir pucks tell you something about the team even if you do not know the context. The Panthers gear design does exactly that - you see it and you know you are looking at a hockey team with serious swagger. That is what you want on your shelf."
Condition, Scarcity, and Collector Notes
Souvenir pucks like this one are printed and distributed in licensed runs, and while they are not individually numbered, production on any given design is tied to licensing cycles. Once a particular graphic variant is discontinued, restocks can be unpredictable. The Florida Panthers Gear Puck is the kind of piece that tends to disappear quietly from retail without announcement. 🎯
For condition preservation, keep it away from direct sunlight - the UV exposure that fades jerseys will also dull the graphics on a printed puck over time. The black rubber itself holds up well, but the surface printing is what you are protecting. A puck case or acrylic cube is your best friend here.
Fingerprints on souvenir pucks are the bane of every serious collector. Handle from the sides, not the faces, and if you need to clean it, a soft microfiber cloth with very light pressure does the job without abrading the printed surface.
Display Ideas for the Panthers Fan
A single acrylic cube display on a desk or shelf works beautifully for this puck. For the dedicated Panthers corner, consider pairing it with the Florida Panthers Arrow Puck (also by Mustang), a team photo, and a mini replica of the Stanley Cup for a full-season tribute display. Shadow boxes with jersey cutouts and a centered puck mount are another great option - pair the puck with a signed photo or program from the 2024 or 2025 Cup runs for a display that tells the whole story.
For the collector who wants function alongside the fandom, wall-mounted puck racks that hold six to twelve pucks turn a single piece into a gallery. Your Gear Puck anchors one spot; let the rest of the rack celebrate other chapters of Panthers history.
