2026 Topps Disney Neon AGM-2 Pete - A Goofy Movie Insert Neon Glow
Greetings, my magical card collectors! ✨🎬
Ever since I first watched A Goofy Movie on repeat during summer breaks, I've been hooked on that perfect blend of father-son heart and infectious '90s style. From Powerline's concert to the open road adventures, that film just gets it. So when Topps Disney Neon dropped the A Goofy Movie insert set, I absolutely needed every single card-and today I'm showcasing one of the series' most iconic characters: Pete, card AGM-2!
🎴 2026 Topps Disney Neon AGM-2 Pete - A Goofy Movie Insert
This isn't just any Pete card-this is Pete in full A Goofy Movie mode: loud, larger-than-life, and unapologetically himself. The Topps Disney Neon treatment makes this insert absolutely glow with that signature electric shimmer. The vibrant Neon finish brings Pete's bombastic energy right off the card, capturing that over-the-top personality we all remember (and maybe love to laugh at).
Design-wise, Topps nailed it. Pete's pose is pure attitude, whether he's leaning against his RV or mid-boast about his "perfect" family vacation. The Neon glow highlights the bold lines of his character design, and the colors pop with that retro-electric vibe that fits the '90s era of the film perfectly. The A Goofy Movie logo sits proudly at the top or bottom (depending on the layout), anchoring this card firmly in one of Disney's most beloved road-trip adventures.
If you grew up watching Goofy and Max navigate their father-son fishing trip (with Pete stirring the pot every step of the way), this card is an instant nostalgia bomb. I can practically hear Pete bragging about PJ and his achievements while I hold this beauty.
🏰 Why Pete? Why This Movie?
Pete has always been the perfect foil to Goofy-where Goofy is sweet and well-meaning, Pete is brash, competitive, and always scheming. In A Goofy Movie, he's the obnoxious neighbor who inadvertently pushes Goofy into taking that fateful road trip with Max. And honestly? The movie wouldn't be the same without him.
I have such vivid memories of watching this film during a Walt Disney World trip years ago, right before heading to the Magic Kingdom. There's something about Pete's larger-than-life presence that feels so Disney parks-like running into a character who's both a friend and a bit of a troublemaker at the same time.
This card joins my growing A Goofy Movie sub-collection, right next to Powerline (AGM-8) and P.J. Pete (AGM-3). The whole insert set is a love letter to fans of the film, and I'm marking each one as "Have" in the Collectiblz app as I pull or trade for them. Watching that completion percentage climb is so satisfying.
✨ Collector's Notes: Insert Sets, Neon Glow, and A Goofy Movie Love
The A Goofy Movie insert set is part of the larger 2026 Topps Disney Neon release, which has become one of my favorite modern Disney card products. Neon parallels and inserts bring that eye-catching shimmer that makes every card feel special, whether it's a base set favorite or a tough-to-pull insert like this Pete card.
Insert sets like A Goofy Movie typically have lower print runs than base cards, making them a bit more challenging to track down-but that's part of the fun! Whether you're ripping packs, trading at local card shows, or browsing eBay, landing one of these Neon inserts is always a thrill.
Sometimes the best treasures are the ones that remind us of the road trips, the laughter, and the characters who made us smile.
For character collectors, Pete is a must-have. He's appeared across so many Disney projects-from classic shorts to Goof Troop and beyond-but this A Goofy Movie version holds a special place in fans' hearts. And for set builders, AGM-2 is a key piece of completing the A Goofy Movie insert checklist.
🎆 Display and Storage Ideas
I keep my Neon inserts in ultra-clear top loaders to protect that glossy finish and let the glow really shine through. When you stack a few A Goofy Movie inserts together-Pete, Powerline, Roxanne, P.J.-they create this amazing visual story of the film's characters.
Some collectors love pairing Disney cards with park memorabilia: I've got mine displayed next to a Powerline concert tee from a Disney Parks retro collection and a Goofy plush from my last Disneyland trip. It's that perfect blend of nostalgia and collecting joy.
If you're a graded card enthusiast, Neon inserts like this Pete card look stunning in a PSA or CGC slab. The clean lines and bold colors photograph beautifully, and a high grade can really make this card a centerpiece of your Disney collection.
🎬 Final Thoughts: Stand Out in Your Collection
The 2026 Topps Disney Neon AGM-2 Pete card is a celebration of everything we love about A Goofy Movie: humor, heart, and unforgettable characters. Whether you're chasing the full A Goofy Movie insert set, building a Pete collection, or just love the Neon aesthetic, this card delivers.
Every time I pull this one out, I'm reminded of summer road trips, Disney movie marathons, and the joy of collecting cards that bring those memories to life. If you spot AGM-2 Pete in a pack or trade binder, don't hesitate-add this big guy to your collection!
Until next time, keep collecting, keep the magic alive, and may all your packs have that perfect Neon glow!
💗 Tilly
