Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary Card #124 - The Haunted Mansion Rainbow Foil Concept Art

Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary Card #124 - The Haunted Mansion Rainbow Foil Concept Art

Happy Haunts, Fellow Collectors!

If you feel a little chill in the air and hear the faint echo of a pipe organ drifting through the shadows... good. That means you are in exactly the right state of mind for today's card, because this one is pure New Orleans Square magic. ✨

Card #124 from the 2025 Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary set is a Concept Art Rainbow Foil parallel of The Haunted Mansion, and I am not even slightly calm about it. This card lives inside the Concept Art subset, which spans cards #118 through #150 of the 150-card base set. Concept Art pulls back the curtain on some of Disneyland's most beloved spaces, revealing the earliest imaginative renderings that Imagineers created before a single brick was laid or a single ghost materialized. And when that space is The Haunted Mansion, tucked in the atmospheric shadow of New Orleans Square? You already know I am chasing every version of it.

The visual language of Haunted Mansion concept art is something truly extraordinary. Long before guests ever stepped into that famous stretching room, Disney Imagineers were sketching this iconic attraction with moody, theatrical artistry - dramatic architecture, atmospheric shadows, and that signature blend of grandeur and eeriness. Now imagine all of that wrapped in the iridescent shimmer of Rainbow Foil. The foil treatment catches light in shifting ribbons of color as you tilt the card, making the already atmospheric art feel almost alive. Which, of course, is very much on-brand for this attraction.

The Rainbow Foil is the most approachable parallel in the entire set, hitting at approximately 1 in every 2 packs in Hobby boxes, making it a realistic pull for anyone cracking a box. But do not let that accessibility fool you - on a card this beautiful, the Rainbow Foil feels like a genuine event. For set builders, this parallel is the essential entry point for completing a foil run of the Concept Art subset. For character and park collectors, this is the Haunted Mansion card that belongs front and center in any Disneyland-themed collection.

Every card in this set is a little doorway to the Happiest Place on Earth - and some doors lead somewhere gloriously, wonderfully spooky.

The Haunted Mansion holds a very special place in my heart. It is one of my favorite attractions at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and the Disneyland version in New Orleans Square has an energy all its own. The exterior leans into that antebellum Louisiana plantation house vibe, surrounded by the bayou scent and wrought-iron charm that makes New Orleans Square feel like its own little world within the park. Walking past it on a warm evening with jazz notes drifting nearby and that soft bayou mist in the air - it is one of those pure Disneyland moments that is almost impossible to put into words. Card #124 captures exactly that spirit: the grandeur, the mystery, and the magic of it.

The good news for Haunted Mansion fans is that the 2025 Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary set is absolutely loaded with New Orleans Square content. Beyond card #124, here are some of the other Haunted Mansion and New Orleans Square cards to chase across the set:

  • Card #78 - The Haunted Mansion (NOW - Then and Now subset) - a photographic look at the attraction's iconic exterior in its current form
  • Card #79 - The Mansion's Organ (THEN - Then and Now subset) - a vintage piece steeped in shadowy Mansion atmosphere
  • Card #80 - A Swinging Wake (THEN - Then and Now subset) - the beloved graveyard party scene in classic imagery
  • Card #81 - Grim Grinning Ghosts Come Out to Socialize (THEN - Then and Now subset) - pure Haunted Mansion nostalgia at its finest
  • Card #82 - Beware of Hitchhiking Ghosts (NOW - Then and Now subset) - Phineas, Ezra, and Gus doing what they do best
  • Card #93 - A Happy Haunt Materializes (Timeline subset) - celebrating a milestone moment in the attraction's history

And for the Chrome chasers in the crowd - please do not sleep on the Happy Haunts Chrome insert set. It delivers Haunted Mansion-themed cards featuring beloved characters such as Madame Leota and the Hat Box Ghost, with a bold Chromium finish and numbered Refractors running all the way down to a spectacular 1/1 Superfractor case hit. That is a major chase for any serious Haunted Mansion collector.

All of those Rainbow Foil parallels sitting together with the Happy Haunts Chrome cards would make an absolutely stunning display. I personally love keeping my foil parallels from sets like this in an Ultra Pro Hinged Card Holder - it stands upright beautifully on a shelf and lets the Rainbow Foil shimmer really show off its best angles. For the Happy Haunts Chrome pulls or any numbered New Orleans Square parallel you are lucky enough to land, an Ultra Pro Snap Card Frame elevates the presentation and gives your most prized pieces that gallery-worthy look every collector room deserves.

If you are building your Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary checklist in the Collectiblz app, card #124 in Rainbow Foil is one to mark as a Have with a little extra pride - or circle firmly on your Need list and start hunting. Either way, this Concept Art card is an absolute must for Haunted Mansion fans, New Orleans Square lovers, park-themed card collectors, and anyone who has ever stood in that queue breathing in that signature fog-and-mystery atmosphere and felt completely at home.

Whether you love The Haunted Mansion for its storytelling, its ghostly charm, or simply the way it smells like history and fog machine every single time you walk through - this card is for you. Happy haunting, collectors! 🏰
