The 2024 Nutcracker Green Stem PEZ Dispenser Is the Christmas Collection Holiday Must-Have Every Seasonal Collector Needs
Every holiday season, PEZ releases a fresh wave of Christmas Collection dispensers that give collectors a reason to revisit the classics while hunting something genuinely new. For 2024, the Nutcracker Green Stem PEZ Dispenser is the one that stopped me mid-scroll the moment I spotted it. Nutcrackers have been part of holiday decor for centuries, and seeing that familiar soldier-style figure reimagined on a bright green stem just feels perfectly festive.
Meet the 2024 Nutcracker (Green Stem)
This dispenser is part of The PEZ Christmas Collection, PEZ's annual lineup of holiday-themed dispensers designed for gifting, decorating, and yes, serious collecting. The Nutcracker character mold features painted details capturing the classic nutcracker look: the regal hat, structured jaw mechanism, and military-style uniform that generations have associated with holiday decor and the famous Tchaikovsky ballet. What sets the 2024 Green Stem version apart from prior Nutcracker releases is the vivid green stem, which gives the piece a distinctly Christmas tree-adjacent feel and makes it an easy standout when displayed alongside the rest of the collection.
The head sculpt is detailed and expressive in that classic PEZ way: oversized, character-forward, immediately recognizable. The green stem provides a nice visual anchor that pairs well with traditional red-and-green holiday arrangements on a shelf or mantle. Two PEZ candy refills are included, and the candy itself is made in the U.S.A. and is peanut-, tree nut-, and gluten-free.
Part of a Larger Holiday Lineup
The Nutcracker Green Stem does not stand alone. The 2024 PEZ Christmas Collection includes a full range of holiday favorites: Santa Claus, Reindeer, Snowman, Elf, and Polar Bear are among the characters filling out the lineup. For collectors who enjoy building complete seasonal sets, these dispensers are designed with that in mind. Each character brings its own color palette and character energy, and the Nutcracker Green Stem earns its spot as one of the more distinctive entries thanks to both its traditional holiday iconography and the updated stem color.
The Nutcracker mold has appeared in various PEZ releases over the years, but fresh painted features and the green stem treatment make this 2024 version its own collectible rather than a simple reissue. That distinction matters to collectors who are tracking variants and additions carefully.
There is something genuinely satisfying about a holiday PEZ set where every piece has a clear visual identity. The Nutcracker Green Stem earns its place in the 2024 Christmas Collection not just as a festive filler but as a character-first piece that holds its own on any holiday display shelf.

Display Ideas
The green stem plays especially well when grouped with the rest of the 2024 Christmas Collection. Arrange them along a windowsill or mantle in a loose arc, mixing warm and cool stem colors for contrast. The Nutcracker Green Stem can anchor a classic Christmas color block alongside the red-stemmed pieces in the lineup. If you collect Nutcrackers specifically across brands and media, the PEZ version is a cheerful, candy-dispensing addition to any nutcracker-focused corner of a shelf.
For PEZ collectors who focus on holiday variants, tracking the Green Stem versus other Nutcracker stem colors is one of those satisfying micro-details that makes the hobby rewarding. It is a small difference with a noticeable visual impact in a display.
Whether you are filling a stocking, rounding out your 2024 Christmas Collection, or simply grabbing a festive dispenser that looks great on a shelf, the Nutcracker Green Stem is a cheerful pick. 🍬
