The NFL Denver Broncos Funko POP + PEZ Is the Ultimate Collector Crossover for Die-Hard Broncos Fans
Where Football Fandom Meets Candy Collecting
Welcome, fellow collectors! If you love NFL football and have a soft spot for creative PEZ dispensers, then today's feature is going to hit you right in the end zone. The NFL - Denver Broncos - Funko POP + PEZ, introduced in 2019, is one of those rare releases that bridges two incredibly passionate collector communities - PEZ fans and Funko fans - into a single, brilliantly designed piece.
What Is the Funko POP + PEZ?
The Funko POP + PEZ line is a collaboration between PEZ Candy and Funko, combining the beloved oversized-head Funko POP aesthetic with the classic PEZ candy dispenser mechanism. The result is a functional candy dispenser that doubles as a display-worthy collectible, styled in the iconic Funko vinyl figure look.
The Denver Broncos release features a stylized generic NFL football player dressed in Broncos team colors - the signature navy blue and orange - and wearing a classic sports beanie. The figure captures the rounded, exaggerated proportions of the Funko POP style while the PEZ dispenser mechanism is built right into the body. The player's beanie and uniform details make team identification immediate and satisfying for any Broncos fan who picks it up.
Design Details Worth Noting
What makes this dispenser stand out on a display shelf is how well the Funko POP proportions translate into the PEZ form factor. The oversized round head sits atop a compact vinyl-style body, and the bold Broncos color application is clean and consistent. The beanie headgear variant gives this particular figure a casual, fan-in-the-stands personality that feels distinct from the helmet and cap variants offered for other teams in the same wave.
The dispenser comes packaged in a collector-friendly box designed to reflect both the PEZ and Funko branding, making it a great addition to a mixed sports or Funko display without needing to be removed from the packaging at all.
When two collector worlds collide this cleanly, the result is a dispenser that earns space on the shelf twice over - once as a PEZ piece and again as a Funko display item. The Denver Broncos beanie variant has a relaxed charm that the helmet versions just do not replicate.
Part of a Massive NFL Set
The Denver Broncos is just one piece of one of the largest themed PEZ dispenser sets ever released. The 2019 Funko POP + PEZ NFL series covered teams across all three headgear variants - beanies, football helmets, and baseball caps - spanning the entire NFL. Here is the full breakdown of the officially released set:
