2025 COSMOS: Cosmos Card Parallel (CDT-C-173) - A Green Plumber's Cosmic Adventure!

A Green Plumber's Cosmic Adventure

Oh my stars, collectors, I'm absolutely enchanted by this stunning 2025 COSMOS Disney Cosmos Card Parallel (CDT-C-173) Luigi! When I first spotted this beauty in my queue, my heart did a little loop-de-loop. Luigi has always been such an underrated character in my book-he deserves so much love, and watching him get featured across these gorgeous Kakawow parallels fills me with such joy.

Let me tell you what makes this particular card absolutely mesmerizing. The Cosmos Card parallel is known for its breathtaking cosmic backdrop, and Luigi's green-clad figure practically glows against the swirling stars and nebulae. The card features Luigi in his iconic pose-ready for adventure, confident and cheerful. The Kakawow design team really nailed the celestial theme here; the cosmic elements frame the character without overwhelming the art. I absolutely love how the foil catches the light, creating this dreamy shimmer that feels like you're looking through a window into another universe.

What really gets me is how this card captures Luigi's spirit. He's always been the gentle, loyal brother-the one who doesn't always get the spotlight but shows up with heart and determination. I remember playing the original Mario Bros. arcade games at Disneyland during my college days (yes, they had them at the arcade back then!), and even then, I admired how Luigi had this quiet strength about him. Now, decades later, seeing him rendered in this cosmic beauty feels like a full-circle moment for my collecting journey.

Sometimes the most magical finds are the ones that remind you why you fell in love with these characters in the first place. Luigi deserves his moment in the cosmos.

The Cosmos Card parallel is serial-numbered to 365, making it reasonably available but still special-not a crazy chase hit, but definitely a keeper for any 2025 COSMOS Disney collector. The set itself contains 210 base character cards with eight stunning parallel designs (Cosmos Star Card /100, Cosmos Red Card /75, Cosmos Aurora Card /45, Cosmos Green Card /25, Cosmos Gold Card /10, Cosmos Blue Gold Card /5, and the ultra-rare Cosmos Black Gold Card /1). This tells me the entire COSMOS line is designed for serious collectors who want variety and depth.

For display, I'm picturing this card in a nice Ultra Pro premium sleeve-maybe even slabbed if you're lucky enough to pull a pristine copy. I've been adding this to my needs list in the Collectiblz app, and I know exactly where it'll go on my shelf. Next to my Disneyland 70th cards, probably, since Luigi's got that nostalgic Disney park energy that just pairs perfectly with anniversary celebrations.

Are you collecting COSMOS Disney? If you're hunting for Luigi or any of the other gorgeous character cards from this set, you've got to see them in person if you can. The photography really does these cards justice, but the real magic happens when the light hits that cosmic foil!
