My Hero Academia TUBBZ Bundle Review - Plus Ultra Gets Quack-tastic
Welcome, My Hero Fans!
I've got a special treat for all you boku no hero fans out there - the My Hero Academia TUBBZ Bundle has landed on my desk, and it's packed with all-might energy. This bundle brings the spirit of UA High's greatest heroes to your desk in the most adorable rubber duck form imaginable. Whether you've been following the series since day one or just discovered it, these ducks are an absolute must-have.
The Bundle Breakdown
What makes this bundle so special is the sheer roster of fan-favorite characters rendered as cute, collectible ducks. Each duck in the set represents a core character from the series - the heroes you've grown to love throughout their incredible journey. The sculpting captures the iconic poses and expressions that make each character instantly recognizable. From determined stances to celebratory moments, the TUBBZ team really nailed the character representation.
The attention to detail is remarkable. You can see the unique quirks (no pun intended) of each character reflected in their duck form. The positioning, the subtle accessories, and the overall composition all speak to careful craftsmanship. These aren't just generic ducks with character slapped on - they're lovingly sculpted tributes to the heroes we adore.
Colors and Paint Quality
The paint work on these ducks is impressive, with vibrant colors that bring each character to life. The color schemes stay true to the source material - the signature reds, greens, yellows, and golds that define the My Hero Academia aesthetic really pop against the glossy finish. Each duck has enough detail to be instantly recognizable, even if you're new to the series.
The finish is smooth and high-quality, with excellent color separation and no bleeding between sections. The ducks have that perfect balance of durability and charm that makes them ideal for both display and handling. You'll want to pick these up repeatedly - they just feel good in your hand.
Display and Collecting Value
I love how these bundles work as a complete set. You can display them all together for an incredible My Hero Academia shrine on your desk or shelf. The variety in the characters means you can arrange them in different formations - squad configurations, power rankings, or any other creative setup you imagine. They pair beautifully with other anime collectibles too.
The size is perfect for most spaces - not too large to take over a desk, but substantial enough to command attention. These are the kind of pieces that make great conversation starters. Most people can't resist picking up a cute rubber duck version of their favorite hero, and that's half the fun.
A Personal Connection to the Story
I got into My Hero Academia back when I caught the first season, and I was immediately hooked by the found-family dynamic and the theme of becoming a hero through hard work and determination. Watching Deku and his classmates grow from struggling students into incredible heroes is what keeps me coming back to the series. Their journey of never giving up really resonates with me.
Now having them as cute ducks on my shelf brings that same inspiration and joy every time I look at them. It's a reminder that anyone can be a hero in their own story, even if we're just rubber ducks at heart.
If you're a My Hero Academia fan looking to expand your collection, these TUBBZ are absolutely worth adding to your shelf. Want to see more rubber duck versions of your favorite franchises? I'm always on the hunt for new characters to feature. And if you're looking to complete your collection, you can always check out my needs list to coordinate trades.
The Verdict
The My Hero Academia TUBBZ Bundle is proof that sometimes the best collectibles are the ones that make you smile every single time you see them. These ducks capture the spirit of the series perfectly - fun, inspiring, and absolutely adorable. Plus Ultra, indeed! ✨
