Columbus Blue Jackets' Elite Defenseman: The Zach Werenski Autographed Game Puck
A Signature from One of the Blue Jackets' Greatest Defensemen
Hey there, hockey collectors! If you've been following the Columbus Blue Jackets' rise as a competitive NHL franchise, you know that Zach Werenski has been the defensive cornerstone holding it all together. This Zach Werenski Columbus Blue Jackets Autographed Hockey Puck is exactly the kind of piece that celebrates one of the modern era's most talented two-way defensemen.
Werenski was drafted 8th overall by Columbus in 2015, and he's been making an impact ever since. Known for his elite skating ability, powerful shot from the blue line, and clutch defensive play, he's become a perennial All-Star and one of the faces of the franchise. Whether he's setting up the goal or shutting down an opposing forward, collectors know his name means Blue Jackets hockey at its finest.
What Makes This Puck Special
This Fanatics Authentic autographed puck features Werenski's striking signature right on that classic NHL rubber. The puck comes with an individually numbered, tamper-evident hologram that you can verify online to confirm authenticity. That hologram is your peace of mind - it's a direct connection from Fanatics Authentic, one of the industry's most respected authenticators.
The craftsmanship on these pucks is clean. The signature is bold and legible, which is always important when you're looking at game-day memorabilia. Fanatics doesn't mess around with their authentication process, so you know this puck has been verified and sealed to prevent tampering.
"Collecting autographed pucks from star defensemen is special because so much of their impact happens away from the highlight reel. Werenski's name on a puck reminds us of all those crucial moments that didn't make SportsCenter but kept games tight and teams competitive."
Display and Storage Tips
For a piece like this, I recommend displaying it in a clear acrylic cube stand. The hologram and signature both deserve to be seen clearly, and an acrylic cube protects from dust while letting collectors view it from all angles. You could also pair it with a framed photo of Werenski in his Blue Jackets gear - the puck on a stand next to an 8x10 creates a mini-shrine to one of the franchise's all-time great defensemen.
Keep it away from direct sunlight to preserve the ink on the signature. The puck's rubber can fade slightly under UV exposure, and you want that signature to stay crisp for decades. A display case with UV-blocking glass is ideal if you're building a serious memorabilia collection.
Why Collectors Love This
Werenski autographed memorabilia sits at that sweet spot between attainable and special. He's an active All-Star still in his prime, so his autographs are available to collectors without breaking the bank, but he's already had the kind of career - multiple All-Star selections, leading the Blue Jackets through competitive seasons - that makes his signature carry real weight.
If you're building a Blue Jackets collection or you're a fan of elite defensemen who do the dirty work, this puck belongs on your shelf. I've actually added this one to my needs list in the Collectiblz app because it's exactly the kind of piece that fills a gap in my defensemen collection. It's the signature of a guy who's going to be remembered as one of Columbus's greatest ever.
