Rey: The Force-Awakened Scavenger of Jakku in Disney Infinity 3.0

A Scavenger With an Incredible Destiny
Oh, I absolutely adore the Disney Infinity Rey figure! When I first watched The Force Awakens, I was completely captivated by Rey's journey from a lonely scavenger on Jakku to discovering her incredible connection to the Force. This figure captures that moment of transformation perfectly. The detail in the sculpt, from her layered desert clothing to the staff she carried across those endless dunes, brings me right back to that cinema experience.
The Disney Infinity Rey Figure is meticulously crafted to showcase her practical, resourceful look from the film. Her tattered tunic, wrapped waist, and sturdy boots are all rendered with incredible attention to detail. The paint work captures the weathered, sun-baked appearance of someone who spent years surviving on a harsh desert planet. What I love most is how her face expresses that determined hope - you can see the intelligence and strength in her gaze as she looks toward her future.
Gameplay and Powers
In Disney Infinity 3.0, Rey brought Force-sensitive abilities to the game that made her stand out. She could interact with the environment in unique ways, using her connection to the Force to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. Her gameplay style reflects both her scrappy, improvisational survival skills and her newfound understanding of the Force. Playing as Rey meant accessing areas and unlocking secrets that other characters simply couldn't reach.
Part of the Force Awakens Collection
Rey is part of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens collection within Disney Infinity 3.0, alongside other incredible figures like Finn, Kylo Ren, and Captain Phasma. These figures unlocked the Takodana Play Set, which let you explore iconic locations from the film and experience the early stages of their epic journey together. There's something magical about having the entire core cast available to use in the game.
The Scavenger Who Found Her Way
What moves me about Rey is her story of self-discovery and belonging. She spent so long alone on Jakku, waiting for a family that never came, and then suddenly found her true family - her purpose - among the Resistance. As Maz Kanata said, "The place you're from, it ain't no home. Home is something you find." This figure reminds me of that beautiful message of hope and connection that resonates throughout Star Wars.
I don't have this figure in my collection yet, and it's definitely on my needs list in the Collectiblz app. Whenever I look at promotional images of her, I'm reminded of why I fell in love with The Force Awakens - the promise of a new generation continuing the legendary Skywalker saga. I'd love to have her displayed on my shelf, right next to Finn and Kylo Ren, recreating epic Takodana scenes with my Star Wars collection!
