Ronan: The Kree Accuser in Disney Infinity 2.0
The Powerful Ronan in Disney Infinity 2.0
When I think about Disney Infinity 2.0, my mind immediately goes to the incredible Marvel universe and all those amazing characters brought to life as collectible figures. Today I'm absolutely thrilled to talk about one of my favorite villains - Ronan, the Kree Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy, captured perfectly as a Disney Infinity 2.0 figure.
If you've seen Guardians of the Galaxy, you know Ronan the Accuser is one serious antagonist. Lee Pace's portrayal brings such gravitas to this Kree warrior, and this Disney Infinity Ronan figure absolutely captures that commanding presence. The sculpt is incredibly detailed - you can see the fierce determination in his expression, and the way his armor is rendered in that deep blue and gold is just spectacular. The Universal Weapon, his iconic mallet, is prominently featured and instantly recognizable. The paint application is clean and precise, with beautiful metallic accents that really make the figure shine on your shelf.
From a gameplay perspective, Ronan brings real firepower to the Marvel Play Set and Toy Box modes. As one of the Marvel Super Villains released in 2015 alongside Green Goblin and Loki, he comes equipped with some seriously cool abilities. His cloaking mechanics let him go invisible - perfect for stealth approaches - while his energy blasts using that Universal Weapon deliver some serious damage in combat. I love how his gameplay branches let you customize his skill progression up to Level 20, making each playthrough feel unique. The boss encounter mechanic in the Guardians Play Set is particularly fun, where you get to shoot his shield and unlock collectible orbs.
What I really appreciate about this figure is that it represents a villain character, and that's wonderful for completing your full Marvel roster. Villains have always held a special place in my heart - there's something about collecting these antagonists that makes you feel like you've got the complete picture of the Marvel universe. Ronan, in particular, brings that cosmic scope that makes Guardians of the Galaxy so engaging.
The figure's detail level is impressive - from the intricate armor plating to the way his costume colors blend those teals and golds just like in the film. The base is solid, and he displays beautifully among other Marvel figures. While Ronan is moderately rare in the secondary market now (as many of these older figures are), finding him is absolutely worth the hunt if you're building out your Disney Infinity collection.
Collecting Disney Infinity figures has been such a joy for me because each one brings back memories of the characters I love. Ronan reminds me of sitting in the cinema, watching Star-Lord stand up to this seemingly unstoppable force - and as Ronan himself says in the film, "I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission." That line perfectly captures the defiant spirit of this character, and I'm so glad to have him in my collection.
If you're a Marvel fan, a Guardians enthusiast, or simply someone who loves collecting these incredible Disney Infinity 2.0 figures, Ronan is a must-have for your shelf. He's a powerful, beautifully crafted figure that brings both gameplay excitement and collector appeal to your display.
