2022 Topps The Book of Boba Fett #13 - Meeting Garsa Fwip Green Parallel
Meeting Garsa Fwip - 2022 Topps The Book of Boba Fett #13 Green Parallel
Welcome back to the card shop, collectors! 🚀 I just pulled this stunning Green Parallel of card #13 from the 2022 Topps The Book of Boba Fett set, and I had to share it with you all. This one features Garsa Fwip, the Twi'lek proprietor of the Water Gardens cantina on Tatooine - one of my favorite character moments from the series.
The 2022 Topps The Book of Boba Fett #13 Green Parallel showcases that iconic moment when Garsa hosts various patrons in her establishment. The card's green parallel treatment gives it a cool, almost neon glow that really makes the Twi'lek's blue skin pop off the card. This is one of the more attractive parallels from the set, honestly - the vibrant coloring elevates what's already a solid character card.
What makes this card stand out:
- Character significance - Garsa Fwip is more than just a cantina owner. She's got connections to some heavy hitters in the Star Wars universe, and her scenes in The Book of Boba Fett are surprisingly pivotal to the story.
- Parallel appeal - The green parallel is a mid-tier rarity that sits nicely between the common base and the ultra-rare sketchcards and autos. It's the sweet spot for collectors who want something special without breaking the bank.
- Visual design - Topps captured the cantina atmosphere perfectly. You can see the detail in the alien makeup and costume design that makes The Book of Boba Fett's Tatooine setting feel lived-in and authentic.
For the Collectiblz app, I've marked this one as something I'm still hunting for in its base form. There's something about completing the full run of The Book of Boba Fett base set that keeps me coming back - maybe it's the lore depth, or maybe it's just that this show gave us so many underrated characters like Garsa.
The parallel variants from this 2022 set represent a collector's journey - start with base cards to learn the checklist, then chase the colored parallels that speak to you. Each parallel tier tells a different story of rarity and value.
If you're building this set, the green parallels are totally achievable without maxing out your budget. I've seen them in the -4 range on recent sales, depending on condition and whether you're shopping from a dealer or picking them up at release. Set builders and character collectors both appreciate this one - it's that middle ground card that fills your binder and makes your collection feel complete.
