Peter Pan: The Boy Who Never Grows Old Takes Flight in Disney Infinity 3.0
Flying Into Neverland with Peter Pan
Oh, how I absolutely adore this Disney Infinity 3.0 Peter Pan figure! There's something truly magical about holding this figure in my hands - it's one of the rarest additions to my collection, a figure that never officially made it to store shelves. Peter Pan is the eternal boy of Neverland, the character who captures everything about childhood wonder and the refusal to grow up, and this Disney Infinity rendition does justice to the beloved character.
The Disney Infinity Mickey Mouse Figure details are spectacular. The sculpt captures Peter Pan in his classic green tunic and cap, with his iconic Pan dagger ready at his side. The figure stands in a dynamic pose that conveys both mischief and adventure, with detailed costume elements including the feathered cap, the cropped jacket, and his signature tights. The paint work is exquisite - the emerald green of his outfit is vibrant, the skin tones are warm and youthful, and the gold accents on his clothing shine beautifully. It's clear that Avalanche Software put tremendous care into this figure's design.
What makes Peter Pan especially collectible is his gameplay potential in Disney Infinity 3.0. As a character, Peter possessed flight abilities, allowing players to soar through levels and unlock aerial exploration paths that other characters couldn't access. His melee combat skills featured his dagger and sword-fighting techniques inspired directly from the classic film, making him a formidable addition to any player's roster. The rare "Toy Box Only" designation on this figure means it was intended as a special unlock, adding to its exclusivity and desirability.
I remember watching the original Peter Pan film as a kid and being absolutely mesmerized by the animation of Neverland. The colors were so vibrant, the Lost Boys' world was so imaginative, and Peter himself was such a charismatic character - eternally young, eternally mischievous, and forever the leader of his gang. "All it takes is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust," Peter says, and that line has always stuck with me. When I discovered that Disney Infinity planned a Peter Pan figure, I knew I had to have it in my collection.
The backstory of this particular figure adds to its mystique. Peter Pan never made it to retail shelves because Disney Infinity's development was cut short when Avalanche Software closed. However, a limited number of production samples were created, and eventually some leaked into the collector's market. Production was remarkably advanced - the figure design was finalized, the box artwork was completed, and all voice lines had already been recorded. Holding this figure feels like owning a piece of Disney history, a moment frozen in time from a beloved game franchise.
I've added Peter Pan to my need list in the Collectiblz app because, honestly, if you're serious about a Disney Infinity collection, this figure is absolutely essential. The rarity, the quality of the sculpt, the incredible game mechanics he would have brought - it's everything I look for in my collection. You can check out my Disney Infinity needs at my Collectiblz needs share if you're interested in what else I'm hunting for.
For collectors like me who grew up with Disney's animated classics and fell in love with Disney Infinity, Peter Pan represents both nostalgia and the thrill of the hunt. Whether you're a Peter Pan fan, a Disney Infinity completionist, or someone who just appreciates beautiful collectibles, this figure deserves a special place in your collection.
