Mr. Incredible: The Super Dad's Strength and Heart in Disney Infinity 1.0

The Super Dad Joins Disney Infinity!

Oh, how I absolutely adore this Mr. Incredible Disney Infinity figure! Growing up watching The Incredibles changed how I saw superheroes - suddenly, they were parents, partners, and everyday people balancing extraordinary powers with real-world struggles. When the Disney Infinity Mr. Incredible figurine first launched on August 18, 2013, I knew I had to have it, and now it holds a special place in my collection. There's something so heartwarming about having Bob Parr standing among my other Disney figures, reminding me why I fell in love with his story all those years ago.

The Disney Infinity Mr. Incredible figure captures everything I love about this character - that blend of determination and genuine heart. The sculpt shows Bob in his iconic red super suit, complete with the black and gold trim that makes his costume so striking. The paint work is absolutely magical, with rich reds and perfectly applied details that bring out the suit's texture and the confidence in his expression. The figure stands in a powerful, ready-for-action pose, with one fist raised and the other at his side - it's the stance of a hero who's just remembered why he became one in the first place. His face shows such warmth beneath that determined superhero demeanor, and Craig T. Nelson's voice talent really shines through in the figure's presence.

In the Disney Infinity 1.0 game, Mr. Incredible was a starter pack hero, which was such a perfect placement. He brought amazing abilities to the gameplay, with his super strength and durability making him essential for puzzle-solving and combat. I spent countless hours playing as Bob, smashing through obstacles and using his incredible power to defeat enemies and unlock new areas. The figure's Adventure is "Mr. Incredible, The Hero," and that title absolutely captured my heart - it's not just about his superpowers, but about the hero he chooses to be for his family.

One of my favorite things about this figure is how it unlocks The Incredibles Play Set, which was such a joy to play. I'd find myself immersed in the world where Mr. Incredible had to balance being a suburban dad with saving the world. There's a quote from the film that still hits me: "When everyone's super, no one will be," and honestly, that line encapsulates why The Incredibles will always be special to me. It's about embracing what makes you unique and special, not trying to be like everyone else.

The figure itself is beautifully sculpted with impressive detail for its size. The cape flows naturally from his shoulders, and the sculpt captures his imposing yet approachable presence. He sits around the same height as other Disney Infinity heroes, making him a perfect display companion to Violet, Mrs. Incredible, or any of the other Pixar legends in the collection. The base is solid and stable, so you don't have to worry about this hero taking a tumble during play or display.

For collectors, the Mr. Incredible figure represents a crucial piece of Disney Infinity history. Released during the 1.0 era before the line expanded to include nearly every character under the Disney banner, this figure holds nostalgic value for longtime collectors. He's been a staple of Disney Infinity collections since launch, and finding mint condition versions is always a treasure. I have him on my need list in the Collectiblz app, and I'd love to find more variants or related pieces to complete my Incredibles collection.

If you're building a Disney Infinity collection or you're an Incredibles fan like me, the Mr. Incredible figure is absolutely worth seeking out. He's got that perfect blend of impressive sculpting, great paint work, and pure nostalgic charm. Display him alongside other Disney heroes, or use him for gameplay adventures - either way, he's a fantastic addition that brings super strength and super heart to any collection!
