2025 COSMOS Disney: Chill with Disney Cosmos Mickey Mouse (Card #CDT-TC-05) - Cosmic Cheer!
A Timeless Icon in Cosmic Shimmer
There's something magical about seeing Mickey Mouse reimagined through a cosmic lens, and the 2025 COSMOS Disney CDT-TC-05 Mickey Mouse from the Chill with Disney Cosmos insert set captures that magic perfectly. The Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom started my journey into Disney collectibles, but it's these shimmer-adorned cards that keep that spark alive in new ways.
Design and Shine
This Mickey card showcases the signature lenticular-chrome shimmer that defines the COSMOS line. The design places Mickey in a relaxed, approachable pose - fitting for the "Chill" theme of the set - with cosmic swirls and iridescent effects that catch light in unexpected ways. The insert set designation means this card carries a touch of rarity; it's not pulled in every pack, making it a rewarding find for serious collectors.
The SN188 designation indicates this is part of a larger numbered sequence within the Chill with Disney Cosmos subset. The foil treatment extends across the entire card surface, creating that coveted shimmer effect collectors chase. The color palette blends cool cosmic tones with Mickey's classic red and black, creating a visual harmony that feels both modern and nostalgic.
The COSMOS Experience
Some cards make you smile when you pull them; this one makes you smile every time you look at it.
The 2025 COSMOS Disney line has been a collector favorite, and the Chill with Disney Cosmos subset is particularly beloved. These cards feel premium in hand - the shimmer is so tactile that you almost expect to feel it through your fingertips. The thematic consistency across the set means building a complete Chill collection creates a stunning visual display when arranged together.
Display and Collection Ideas
This card pairs beautifully in an Ultra Pro Premium Two-Piece Hinged Box or an Ultra Pro Graded Card Frame if you're considering professional grading down the line. For display, consider pairing it with other Mickey Mouse cards from the COSMOS line or creating a themed collection of all the Chill with Disney Cosmos subset cards.
I've been tracking this set on my needs list in the Collectiblz app, and each new addition feels like a small victory. If you're building a COSMOS collection or just love Mickey in any form, this shimmer-adorned treasure deserves a spot in your rotation.
