Eero the Eel: A Slippery Yellow Dream for Your Collection
Eero the Eel: A Slippery Yellow Dream for Your Collection
Hi friends! Today I'm absolutely thrilled to talk about one of my newer discoveries - Squishmallow Eero the Eel 8 inch in the most gorgeous sunny yellow color. This little buddy just brought so much joy to my collection, and I can't wait to tell you all about what makes Eero so special!
Let me start by saying: the softness is UNREAL. Eero has that perfectly plush texture that makes you want to squish it constantly. The yellow fabric is incredibly smooth and has this slightly silky feel that makes it different from some of the other eels in the Squishmallow squad. When I first got Eero in my hands, I couldn't stop squeezing and admiring the buttery soft material - it's the kind of plush that makes you understand why we're all so obsessed with these little guys.
Size-wise, the 8-inch dimension is absolutely perfect. It's big enough to feel substantial and huggable, but small enough to take with you anywhere. I've had Eero sitting on my desk while I work, and honestly, it's the perfect squeeze buddy during video calls. Compared to some of the smaller 5-inch eels I've seen, this 8-inch version feels way more satisfying to cuddle. It's got the ideal weight and presence without being too large.
What really gets me about Eero is the character design. That cheerful yellow color paired with the eel shape just screams happiness. The expression on Eero's face is so gentle and friendly - definitely more of a sunny, approachable character than some of the spookier Squishmallows out there. If you're into bright, joyful plushes, this one is calling your name. The collector number is 2762, so if you're trying to hunt down a specific one, that's your reference guide.
Now, let's talk collector appeal. Finding specific Squishmallows can be such an adventure! I actually tracked Eero down after spending weeks keeping an eye on various retailers. The hunt is half the fun, right? Once you find the one you're looking for, that feeling of victory is unmatched. I keep Eero on my display shelf with some of my other favorite yellowish Squishmallows - it creates this really cheerful corner that makes me smile every time I see it.
I've been adding a lot of yellow and warm-toned Squishmallows to my collection lately, and Eero fits perfectly into that vibe. The eel shape is also pretty unique - it's not one of the most common animals in the Squishmallow squad, so having this little yellow buddy makes my collection feel more diverse and special. Plus, eels are kind of underrated creatures, and Squishmallow does such a great job of making every animal adorable, even the ones we don't usually think about as cuddly!
I've been using the Collectiblz app to keep track of my collection and the Squishmallows I still want to add. It's been such a game-changer for my hunting adventures - I can check my needs list whenever I'm out searching for new additions. If you see Eero out in the wild and know someone hunting for plushes, send them my way!
Whether you're a longtime Squishmallow collector like me or just starting your plush journey, Eero is absolutely worth seeking out. That sunshine yellow color, the incredibly soft texture, and the adorable eel character all combine to make this an 8-inch Squishmallow that deserves a special spot in your collection.
So here's to Eero - may your collection be as soft and sunny as this little yellow eel! Happy squishing, everyone!
