Honeycrisp the Apple Cow: A Perfectly Sweet Squishmallow from the Food Squad
What's apple-shaped, impossibly soft, and ready to join your food squad? Say hello to Honeycrisp the Apple Cow!
This adorable 8-inch Squishmallow is a total fruit-collector gem. Honeycrisp is a bright, cheerful green apple with the most endearing cow face - floppy ears, sweet eyes, and a peaceful expression that makes you want to snuggle it immediately. The color is a vibrant apple green that looks almost good enough to bite (but please don't - this plushie is strictly for squeezing!). It's part of the Food Squad, which already has my heart with characters like Debbie the Strawberry Smoothie and Dill the Cow.
The squishiness is real here. Honeycrisp has that perfect balance of soft and huggable - not too squishy, not too firm. Eight inches is that ideal hand-size for cuddling while reading or studying, or tucking into a desk corner for a midday comfort check. It's big enough to feel substantial without taking up precious shelf real estate.
What I love most about the Food Squad is how creative they get. An apple with a cow face is genuinely unexpected and totally charming. The contrast between the apple shape and the cow features makes Honeycrisp feel like a character with actual personality. Release date is 02.20.2025 (collector number 2916), so it's a fairly recent find - which means it's out there in the wild right now if you're hunting.
You'll spot Honeycrisp at major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Costco - it's a standard release rather than a limited edition, so the hunt shouldn't be too intense. That said, I always recommend hitting up your local stores or checking online resellers like Mercari if your stores don't have it. Sometimes these guys sell out in your area faster than you'd expect.
Honeycrisp works perfectly as a cuddle buddy, a desk companion, or a gift for anyone who loves both apples and quirky food-themed collectibles. Pair it with another Food Squad member for maximum squad vibes, or let it stand alone as your new go-to plushie. Either way, you're getting a Squishmallow that's equal parts cute, cozy, and completely collectible.
