Kanan Jarrus Lights Up the Force in Disney Infinity 3.0 with Exclusive Light FX
A Jedi Survivor's Journey from Star Wars Rebels to Disney Infinity
Oh, I absolutely adore this Kanan Jarrus figure! When I first discovered Star Wars Rebels, I was captivated by Kanan's character - a Jedi survivor who lost so much yet never lost his hope or his connection to the Force. Seeing him in the Disney Infinity line, especially as the exclusive Light FX version, brought me right back to those incredible moments of him leading the Ghost crew with quiet strength and wisdom.
The Disney Infinity 3.0 Kanan Jarrus - Light FX figure captures the character beautifully. Standing about 3.5 inches tall, this sculpt showcases Kanan in his Season Two appearance with his distinctive shoulder padding and detailed costume elements. The paint application is gorgeous - his blue eyes perfectly match his lightsaber color, and every detail from his tunic to his blaster is rendered with care. You can see the craftsmanship that went into making this feel authentic to the character we love from the animated series.
But here's what makes this figure special: it's the Light FX variant! That means when you place it on the base, the lightsaber lights up with a beautiful glow. As Kanan himself says, "I'm more than just the Jedi inside me." This figure is more than just a collectible - it's a glowing testament to the character's power and presence. The Light FX technology makes it stand out on any shelf, and honestly, it's one of my favorite display pieces.
Gameplay and Powers
In Disney Infinity 3.0, Kanan was playable in both Star Wars Play Sets: Rise Against the Empire and Twilight of the Republic, plus the Toy Box Mode where his Force abilities truly shine. He wielded incredible powers including Super Jump, Block Breaker, Air Assault, Blinding Force, and Force Jump - a diverse moveset that made him fun and strategic to play with.
What I love is how the figure represents his role in the games. Whether you're building a Star Wars collection or completing a Disney Infinity set, Kanan brings that Jedi warrior energy that fans of the show expect.
A Rare Find for Collectors
Here's something important for collectors to know: Kanan Jarrus was released exclusively as Light FX - there is no standard version. He was a Walmart and Amazon exclusive, making him harder to track down than many other figures. In fact, he's the only Star Wars Rebels character in the entire Light FX Star Wars collection of six figures, which makes him genuinely special and sought-after.
The rarity and exclusivity have given this figure premium value on the secondary market. If you're a Disney Infinity completionist or a serious Star Wars Rebels fan, this is the figure that got away for many collectors - until now. I've added this beauty to my needs list in the Collectiblz app, and I'd love to see it join my collection. If you're looking to find other amazing figures like this one, you can check out my full Disney Infinity needs list here.
The Light FX technology, combined with Kanan's character popularity and limited availability, makes this a must-have for serious Disney Infinity enthusiasts. Every time the lightsaber lights up, you're reminded of Kanan's journey - a Jedi who found his way even in the darkest times.
