Una the Ube Pancake: A Dreamy Purple Select Series Squishmallow Worth Hunting
Cozy Vibes for Your Squad!
Let me introduce you to Una the Ube Pancake 12-inch Squishmallow - a dreamy purple plush that's absolutely calling my name right now. This is one of those Select Series releases that hits different, you know? When I first spotted Una, I knew she had to become part of my collection's story.
Una is a gorgeous ube-inspired pancake character, rendered in the most soothing lavender-purple color that feels like squishing a cloud made of dreams. The 12-inch size hits that perfect sweet spot - substantial enough to cuddle seriously, but still portable for car rides or bringing to a friend's place. The softness is absolutely next-level; Una's plush feels like a premium hug every time I pick her up.
The Ube Appeal
For those new to ube - it's that gorgeous purple yam ingredient that's become iconic in Filipino cuisine and beyond. Squishmallow did such a beautiful job capturing the essence of an ube pancake character. Una's design includes all those adorable pancake details - a sweet little face, that foodie vibe, and the kind of personality that makes you smile the second you see her. Collector No. 3140 marks her place in the official lineup, and the Squish Date of 08.29.2025 shows she's one of the newer releases this year.
What really gets me about the Select Series releases is how intentional they feel. These aren't just random characters - they're thought-out, detailed plushes that appeal to serious collectors. Una definitely delivers on that promise.
Finding Your Una
The Select Series tends to have more limited availability than some of the core squads. Una's the kind of Squishmallow that pops up at specialty retailers, and she's been moving pretty steadily, which tells you how much collectors are loving her. If you're hunting for Una, patience is your friend - these special releases tend to be available for a good window, but they do eventually sell out once word spreads about how gorgeous they are.
I'm currently tracking Una on my Collectiblz needs list, and I gotta say, having a dedicated place to keep track of my hunt makes the collector journey so much more satisfying. There's something special about documenting the plushes you're searching for.
Your Squad Won't Be Complete Without Her
Honestly, Una feels like one of those must-have 2025 releases. Whether you're building out your foodie squad, going all-in on the Select Series, or just looking for a purple plush that radiates cozy comfort, Una deserves a spot in your rotation. The quality is there, the character is there, and that ube-pancake aesthetic? It's pure collector magic.
Have you spotted Una yet, or is she on your radar? Let me know if you snag one - I'd love to hear what you think about this gorgeous purple addition to the Squishmallow family!
