The Buzz Lightyear Popcorn Bucket Is the Light-Up Space-Ranger Collectible Every Regal Theater Fan Craves
Buzz Lightyear Takes Flight at Regal Cinemas
When you walk up to the concession stand at a Regal Cinema this summer, you're going to stop and stare at the new Buzz Lightyear Popcorn Bucket from Toy Story 5. This isn't just a bucket - it's a fully sculpted Space Ranger that looks ready to launch straight into orbit.
The bucket captures Buzz's iconic green and white suit in full detail, from his distinctive helmet down to his boots. The real magic is in the interactive features: a retractable dome helmet that opens and closes to reveal the popcorn inside, plus retractable wings on the sides that fold in and out. And here's the part that makes Regal's version stand out from every other theater chain's Toy Story 5 offering - it lights up. When you flip the switch, Buzz glows, making this bucket the perfect display piece whether you're watching the movie or showing it off at home.
The bucket holds a generous 130 ounces of popcorn, and it comes with a detachable 32-ounce character drink cup, so you've got plenty of capacity for an epic opening-night experience. Everything is food-grade and BPA-free, designed to last long after the popcorn's gone.
This is the kind of collectible that makes you remember why opening nights at the movies are worth the trip - there's history in a bucket like this.
Regal released this exclusively during Toy Story 5's theatrical run, which means availability is limited to select locations while supplies last. Both online (.95) and in-theater (.99), these are going fast. If you're a Toy Story collector or just someone who appreciates the craftsmanship that goes into movie theater merchandise, this Buzz bucket deserves a spot on your shelf. The lights, the wings, the sculpted detail - it's a theater exclusive that actually feels like one.
I've marked this one on my needs list in the Collectiblz app, because I can already tell this is going to be harder to find six months from now than it is today.
