Jessie: The Cowgirl Brings Toy Story Heart to Disney Infinity 1.0
Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with Jessie? This cowgirl holds such a special place in my heart, both as a Toy Story devotee and as a Disney Infinity collector. When I first saw the Disney Infinity Jessie Figure in my collection, I knew I had to tell you all about her today!
Jessie's design in Disney Infinity 1.0 is absolutely gorgeous. Standing at a perfect 4 inches, this figure captures every iconic element of our beloved cowgirl in the most charming way. From her signature red hair with that adorable yellow bow to her vibrant pink and purple cow-print dress, the sculpt is bursting with personality. The paint work on this figure is just magical - the attention to detail on her face, the crisp lines on her outfit, and the way her lasso is sculpted in her hand all come together beautifully.
What really gets me is how well Infinity captured Jessie's spirit in the game itself. Her special ability as a Marksman makes perfect sense for a sharpshooter cowgirl, and watching her execute her Shoulder bash attack and throw small Pixar balls across the play set is such a joy. It's like having the energetic, can-do attitude of Jessie right there in your hands, ready for adventure. There's something so satisfying about having a figure that not only looks incredible on display but also plays with personality and purpose.
The Toy Story Connection
I first met Jessie in Toy Story 2, and I'll never forget that moment when her box opened up and we saw her for the first time. As a collector, I was immediately drawn to her because she represents so much more than just a toy - she's about rediscovering joy, finding your place in the world, and embracing adventure. Toy Story 2 teaches us that it's not about being played with or displayed perfectly; it's about connection and belonging. Jessie embodies that spirit completely.
There's a line from Toy Story that I think about often: "You've got a friend in me." Jessie absolutely lives by that philosophy. She's loyal, enthusiastic, and always ready to stand by her friends. Bringing her Disney Infinity figure into my collection felt like inviting that friendship and positive energy into my play set adventures.

The physical design of this figure is sturdy and well-balanced, which I absolutely appreciate. The sculpting of her expression - that characteristic Jessie smile - makes me smile every single time I look at her. The way her outfit is detailed, from the fringe on her vest to the way her boots are painted, shows how much care went into making this more than just a toy - it's a work of art.
A Personal Reflection
You know, collecting Disney Infinity figures has taught me something beautiful about nostalgia and joy. When I hold Jessie, I'm transported back to watching Toy Story 2 for the first time, feeling the magic of discovering a new character who felt like an instant friend. The craftsmanship on this figure, released October 22, 2013, represents a moment in Disney's gaming history when they really understood how to bring characters to life in three dimensions.
If you're building your Disney Infinity collection and you don't have Jessie yet, I can't recommend her enough. She's a stunning display piece, a joy to use in the game, and a beautiful tribute to one of Pixar's most beloved characters. Every time I see her on my shelf, I'm reminded that there's always room for one more adventure - and that's what Jessie is all about.
