2025 Topps Chrome Disney: Chicken Little 20th Anniversary (CL-6) - Quirky Sky-Watching Magic!
Welcome to Poultry Palace!
Today I'm looking at the Topps Chrome Disney Chicken Little 20th Anniversary CL-6 card, and what a delightful little gem it is! Released as part of the 2025 Topps Chrome Disney Insert Sets, this card celebrates two decades since Chicken Little first taught us about the sky falling - and all the hilarious chaos that ensued. The Chrome refractor treatment gives this card an absolutely stunning shimmer that catches the light beautifully, making the bright, energetic design absolutely gleam.
Chicken Little holds such a special place in my heart. While it's not the biggest blockbuster Disney film, it's wonderfully quirky and genuinely funny, and I remember dragging my best friend to see it during opening weekend at a theater near Disneyland Park. We laughed through the whole thing - the corn-powered skateboard, Foxy Loxy's scheming, and of course, Chicken Little's pure panic every time he thought the sky was falling again. That was the early 2000s, simpler times at the parks when you could just wander around without checking your phone.
The card itself features Chicken Little in that iconic orange-red coloring, looking absolutely adorable with his nervous but determined expression. The refractor treatment is what makes this card sing - you get these gorgeous rainbow sparkles across the surface that dance when you tilt it in the light. There's a subtle metallic sheen that Topps did beautifully on their 2025 Chrome line. The border design is clean and modern, with that characteristic Chrome finish that makes these insert cards stand out from standard base cards.
What I love most about collector cards like this is how they capture a specific character moment. Chicken Little was all about heart despite his anxious personality, and you can see that in his expression on this card. The 20th Anniversary designation is perfect timing - gives longtime Disney fans like me a chance to revisit that era and remember what drew us to collecting in the first place. I've marked this one on my needs list in the Collectiblz app because it's such a fun piece of that early-2000s Disney moment.
You can't help but smile when you're holding a card that reminds you why you fell in love with Disney in the first place - whether it's a massive franchise hit or a quirky underdog like Chicken Little.
In terms of rarity and collectibility, this is an insert card from the special 2025 set, which means it's harder to pull than base cards but not quite as rare as the highest-tier parallels. The Chrome treatment alone elevates it above standard inserts. If you're building the Chicken Little subset (and trust me, there's a growing collector community around character-specific sets), this CL-6 is a must-have. It completes the character's story across the Chrome Disney line beautifully.
Display-wise, I'd pair this with an Ultra Pro One-Touch magnetic holder to really showcase that refractor shimmer. The metallic finish demands to be seen in proper lighting. If you're a Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom fan like me, you might appreciate how this card shares that same magical energy - capturing a spell card moment, really, with Chicken Little ready to take on whatever adventure comes next.
Whether you're collecting the full 2025 Chrome Disney set, hunting for Chicken Little cards, or just love those 2000s nostalgia trips, this card is absolutely worth tracking down. That refractor shine is *chef's kiss*, and the character choice is delightfully unexpected in the best way.
Happy hunting out there!
