The Gamorreans Meet Their New Master #15 Green Parallel /75 - 2022 Topps Book of Boba Fett
A Creature Feature from Tatooine
Card collectors often overlook the supporting cast moments in Star Wars, but they're where the character work really shines. Today I'm looking at the Gamorreans Meet Their New Master Green Parallel from the 2022 Topps Book of Boba Fett set - card #15 in the base checklist, and this green parallel /75 is an absolute standout for anyone chasing the Bounty Hunters subplot.
For those who haven't caught up on the show, the Gamorreans are pig-like creatures of pure muscle and honor. When Boba Fett recruits them as part of his loyal crew, it marks his transition from loner to leader. This card captures that pivotal moment - raw power meets loyalty, and the production design team at Topps nails the lighting and framing. The green parallel treatment gives it an almost neon glow that emphasizes the alien landscape of Tatooine.
The Parallel Game
Topps used green parallels extensively throughout the Book of Boba Fett release, numbered to 75 copies each. It's the perfect rarity tier - scarce enough to feel like a chase card, common enough that collectors can actually build sets without dropping hundreds. The green ink sits just right on the card stock, neither too bright nor too subdued. Compare it to the silver or bronze parallels, and you'll understand why green is having a moment right now in the modern collecting scene.
The 2022 Topps Book of Boba Fett set captures the show's practical creature work better than most licensed products - every supporting character gets their due, and the parallels remind us why limited editions matter. You're not just collecting a card; you're archiving a television moment.
The base set has 100 cards across characters, locations, and key story beats. That means card #15 came early in the print run, often finding its way into starter packs and value boxes. The green parallel, though? Much rarer. Collectors building the green set need discipline and patience - you won't find one in every other box.
Set Builder or Character Chaser?
Here's the collector angle: Are you building the green parallel set, chasing all Gamorrean cards, or hunting the 2022 Topps Book of Boba Fett complete base? This card fits all three goals. The Gamorreans only appear on a handful of cards in the set, making them a tight little micro-collection within the larger checklist. And if you're pulling green parallels, this is exactly the kind of mid-series card that makes those green sets feel complete and intentional.
I've got this one marked in my needs list in the Collectiblz app - it's part of my green parallel build, and every copy is one step closer to that 1/1 sense of accomplishment. If you're serious about parallel sets, don't sleep on the lower-numbered cards. They disappear fast once people realize what they've got.
Keep your eyes on the secondary market for this one. Green parallels from 2022 Book of Boba Fett tend to hold steady value, especially character-driven moments like this. The show may be complete, but the collecting never stops.
