2026 Topps Disneyland 70th: Card 42 Abominable Snowman (Purple Glitter) - Yeti Magic from Matterhorn!
Sleigh-ing the Anniversary Celebration with a Yeti Classic!
Oh, what a magical way to celebrate Disneyland's 70 years! The Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary Card 42 featuring the Abominable Snowman in Purple Glitter parallel is pure frosty enchantment. This card combines two of my absolute favorite things: the iconic yeti from the Matterhorn bobsled ride and the shimmering splendor of purple foil that makes every collector's heart skip a beat.
The Abominable Snowman, affectionately known as the Yeti, has been terrorizing and delighting Disneyland guests since 1959. I still remember the first time I experienced the Matterhorn Bobsled ride as a kid-my heart was pounding as that massive white fur creature loomed over us. This card perfectly captures that thrilling encounter, with the yeti's piercing gaze staring directly at you. The purple glitter parallel adds an ethereal, almost magical quality to the design, transforming the fearsome creature into something that sparkles like ice under moonlight.
"In Disneyland, the scariest moments often turn into the best memories-just like the Yeti reminding us that adventure is waiting around every snowy corner."
What makes this card extra special is that it's part of the "THEN & NOW" theme, showcasing classic Disneyland attractions as they were decades ago and as they appear today. The card design is crisp, with excellent registration and vibrant color depth. The purple glitter parallel is one of the most sought-after parallel sets from this release-it catches light beautifully on display, whether you're showcasing it in a binder or in an Ultra Pro 9-pocket page.
This card fits perfectly into collections focusing on:
- Disneyland 70th Anniversary themed collections
- Ride-specific Matterhorn Bobsled cards
- Purple parallel chase sets
- Topps Disney classic character cards
Whether you're a Disneyland lifer like me or you're just starting to explore the Topps Disney Disneyland 70th set, Card 42 with the Abominable Snowman is absolutely worth tracking down. I've got mine marked on my Collectiblz needs list, hunting for that perfect condition purple glitter parallel. The hunt is half the fun!
