2025 COSMOS Disney: Sadness (CDT-B-201) - When Blue Feelings Shine Bright!
Diving Deep Into Sadness
Oh, what a joy to hold this beautiful card featuring Sadness from Pixar's Inside Out! There's something so wonderfully expressive about this character - she's the one who taught us that it's okay to feel blue sometimes, literally and figuratively. CDT-B-201 captures that gentle, introspective emotion perfectly in the 2025 COSMOS Disney base set.
The card design is absolutely gorgeous. Sadness appears with her signature look - that beautiful blue hue that makes her instantly recognizable. What I love most about this base card is how the COSMOS printing enhances the dreamy, emotional quality of the artwork. The colors seem to shimmer with a cosmic energy, almost like Sadness is drifting through the stars themselves. It's the kind of card that makes you pause and just appreciate the artistry.
Sometimes the most beautiful moments come from sitting with our feelings, not running from them.
I actually picked this one up a few months back at Disneyland - I was wandering through the park after catching the sunset from Frontierland, feeling a bit nostalgic about how fast time flies, and I found myself in one of the gift shops. That's when I spotted a pack of 2025 COSMOS Disney cards, and I couldn't resist. I've already marked this card in my Collectiblz app, and I love knowing exactly where it is in my collection.
What makes CDT-B-201 special in the broader context is that it's part of a complete set celebrating Disney's most iconic emotions. In a hobby where we often chase the rare inserts and chases, there's real charm in these base cards - they're the foundation that makes every collection sing. The COSMOS base set includes 210 cards total, and each one feels like a little portal into a Disney memory.
For display, this card looks stunning in a standard Ultra Pro sleeve and top loader. If you want to really showcase it, an Ultra Pro slab would make Sadness's serene expression absolutely pop under gallery lighting. Pair it with Disgust, Joy, Anger, and Fear, and you've got the whole emotional spectrum watching over your shelf - perfect for any Disney card collector who believes in celebrating every feeling.
Whether you're building the complete 2025 COSMOS Disney set or just collecting your favorite emotions, CDT-B-201 is definitely worth seeking out. It's a beautiful reminder that even in the depths of sadness, there's cosmic beauty to be found.
