2025 Topps Disney Wonder: Castles, Cottages, and Casas - Fa Family Home, Mulan (C-12) - A Collector's Home Sweet Home!
When Home is Where the Heart Blooms
Oh, collectors, how excited am I to share this beautiful card with you today? There's something so special about celebrating the homes that matter most in Disney's greatest stories-and today, we're stepping into the warm, welcoming Fa Family home from Mulan! The 2025 Topps Disney Wonder set continues to enchant us with its "Castles, Cottages, and Casas" insert series, and card C-12 brings one of the most heartfelt homes in the entire Disney canon right into our hands.
Introducing Card C-12: The Heart of the Fa Family
This gorgeous card features the beloved Fa Family home from Disney's beloved 1998 film Mulan. As part of the "Castles, Cottages, and Casas" insert set at 1:9 packs, this card celebrates the humble yet meaningful dwelling that serves as the emotional anchor throughout Mulan's journey. The card captures the essence of a traditional Chinese home-a sanctuary where Mulan's family bonds, where her father encouraged her through heartbreak, and where she truly learned what it means to honor her family.
The Fa Family Home: More Than Just a Cottage
The Fa Family home isn't a palace or a castle-it's something far more precious. Nestled in ancient China, the estate includes the main residence surrounded by a protective wall and gate, a stable for Khan (Mulan's beloved horse), and working farmland that reflects the family's humble, industrious life. What makes this home unforgettable are the magical moments that unfold there: the moon gate passage that frames the garden with serene beauty, the flowing stream with its graceful bridge featured during "Reflection," and most importantly, the magnificent magnolia tree on the hillside.
That magnolia tree deserves special mention, collectors. Under its delicate blossoms, Mulan's father Fa Zhou offers her comfort after her disastrous matchmaker visit, using the late blooming flower as a beautiful metaphor for her own path in life. That same tree becomes the setting for their reconciliation at the film's end-a reminder that home isn't just walls and gardens, it's where we're accepted for exactly who we are.
A Collector's Nostalgic Moment
I have to share this: watching Mulan as a young collector, I was captivated by how the film made me feel about family and belonging. As a collector myself, I've always been drawn to Mulan's story because it's about finding courage within yourself-much like the courage it takes to start and maintain a meaningful collection! Years later, visiting the Mulan exhibit at Disney Parks, I stood in front of architectural displays of the Fa home and felt that same warmth. The colors, the details, the sense of tradition-it all clicked. This card captures that magic perfectly.
"A late blossom still has beauty and purpose-and so does every card we cherish, no matter when it joins our collections."
The Castles, Cottages, and Casas Theme
The beauty of the 2025 "Castles, Cottages, and Casas" insert set is how it celebrates the incredible range of Disney homes. From Snow White's cottage with the Seven Dwarfs to Cinderella's magnificent chateau, from King Triton's underwater castle to Belle's provincial cottage, from the Sultan's Palace in Agrabah to Rapunzel's tower, each card honors a home that shaped its story. Mulan's simple family estate sits beautifully among these icons, reminding us that the grandest stories don't always come from the grandest homes. Sometimes the most powerful magic happens in quiet moments under a magnolia tree.
Insert Set Details and Rarity
Card C-12 drops at an impressive 1:9 packs ratio, making it a special pull that collectors genuinely treasure. The base version is collectible on its own, but the Castles, Cottages, and Casas set also features gorgeous parallel versions: Gold Foil (numbered to 50), Orange Foil (numbered to 25), Red Foil (numbered to just 5), and the ultimate chase card-the Foilfractor (1/1 one-of-one).
