2025 Topps: You. Are. A. Toy. Story... Autographs Tony Hale (YRT-THL) - Spork Magic!
A Spoonful of Collectible Magic: Tony Hale's Forky Autograph Card
Oh, collectors! When Toy Story 4 burst onto our screens, none of us expected to fall in love with a plastic spork-but that's the magic of Pixar, isn't it? And now, right on the heels of Toy Story 5's June 2026 release, here comes the YRT-THL card from Topps' stunning 30 Years of Toy Story set, featuring the one and only Tony Hale as the beloved Forky himself. This isn't just any autograph card-it's a piece of Andy's toy family history, frozen in time, waiting for its forever home in your collection.
Tony Hale, the masterful actor and comedian behind Buster Bluth in Arrested Development and Gary Walsh in HBO's Veep, brought Forky to life starting in 2019. What makes his casting so brilliant is that Hale has built his entire career playing beautifully overwhelmed, endearingly clumsy characters-and Forky? He's the ultimate expression of that gift. A spork with an existential crisis, philosophical musings, and absolute heart, Forky became the emotional anchor of Toy Story 4 and proved himself essential to the franchise through the Forky Asks a Question series and now Toy Story 5. Hale's voice work captures that perfect blend of panic and wisdom that makes Forky unforgettable.
I still remember taking my niece to see Toy Story 4 for the first time. We were both pretty sure we'd outgrown the franchise by then-life gets busy, you know? But watching Forky on screen, hearing Tony Hale's nervous, thoughtful delivery, something magical happened. We both got that little catch in our chests, that reminder of why we fell in love with Woody, Buzz, and the gang in the first place. It wasn't about being a kid anymore; it was about remembering what it felt like to believe in friendship, loyalty, and the fact that even a spork can find purpose and belonging.
Forky reminds us that being different isn't something to fix-it's something to celebrate, and Tony Hale's voice brings that message home with every hesitant, hopeful word.
Autograph cards hold a special place in any collector's heart. They're more than cardstock and ink-they're a tangible connection to the artists and performers who've shaped our favorite stories. An autograph card says, "This person, this talent, this voice that became part of your childhood, took a moment to sign their name." It's intimate. It's real. And when it's Tony Hale's signature on a Forky card, you're holding proof that he was part of making magic happen.
The YRT-THL card belongs to the "You. Are. A. Toy. Story... Autographs" insert set-one of the crown jewels of the 2025 Topps 30 Years of Toy Story release. This subset celebrates some of the franchise's most iconic imagery and features signatures from major cast members. It's the kind of chase card that makes hobby box hunters hold their breath and collectors' eyes light up. Finding one of these in a pack? That's a moment you tell your collecting friends about for months.
Rarity is part of what makes this card so compelling. Autograph cards in modern trading card sets are carefully limited, and subset autographs like this one are even more elusive. If you're hunting for the YRT-THL, understand that patience and persistence pay off. Check trusted hobby shops, scan online marketplaces, and don't be shy about joining collector forums-fellow enthusiasts often have tips on where to find those harder-to-locate cards. The 30 Years of Toy Story set had strong collector interest, so these autographs are absolutely out there.
For display and protection, this card deserves the best. Slide it into a one-touch magnetic case or a thick top-loader-something that shields it from light, dust, and the occasional accidental coffee spill (we've all been there). Ultra Pro's premium card savers and magnetic closures are perfect for this. If you're really invested, a framed display with a UV-protective mat lets you celebrate Forky's goofy wisdom while keeping him safe from fading. Some collectors create shadow boxes with multiple Toy Story autographs-a whole Pixar family on display together. Imagine the YRT-THL front and center, surrounded by Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the crew!
Whether you're a Toy Story devotee from day one, a Tony Hale fan, or someone who discovered Forky's magic through Toy Story 5 this summer, the YRT-THL autograph card is a keeper. It represents a character who shouldn't exist on paper-a spork with feelings-but somehow became essential to one of cinema's greatest franchises. Add it to your collection, and you'll have a piece of that magic right in your hands. And if you're using the Collectiblz app to track your haul (because honestly, keeping up with 30 Years of Toy Story sets is no small feat), mark this one as a HAVE. You'll want to remember exactly where this treasure is living.
