Finding Magic in Series 4: The Sweetest Surprise Blind Pull

I got home from Target yesterday with that telltale red bag, and inside was a fresh Disney Munchlings Series 4 blind box waiting to surprise me. You know that moment when you squeeze the packaging just a little, trying to guess what's inside without actually peeking? Yeah, I did that for a solid minute before I finally worked up the courage to unwrap it. The anticipation is honestly half the fun-I never look up rarity guides beforehand because the reveal is everything.

When I opened the packaging, I was hit with the most delightful strawberry-vanilla scent, and I immediately knew I was holding something special. What emerged from the wrapping was the most adorable Disney Munchlings Series 4 combination: a blushing strawberry plush with the sweetest character face nestled right at the top. The soft, squishy texture is exactly what I've come to love about this line-that perfect balance between collectible and cuddly. At about three inches tall, it fits perfectly on my kitchen shelf display alongside the rest of my Munchlings family.

The food-plus-character mashup concept is exactly what sold me on Munchlings in the first place. It's like Disney took all my favorite park snacks and said, 'What if these hugged a beloved character?'-and somehow made it even cuter.

This pull hits especially hard for me because I have such a vivid memory of discovering the very first Munchlings at the Emporium on Main Street at Magic Kingdom. It was early 2023, and I was on one of my twice-monthly visits (yes, that's my baseline now-WDW is practically my second home). I grabbed that original Stitch donut on pure impulse, but it became one of my most treasured pieces. That vanilla scent was like bottled magic, and it convinced me immediately that this line was worth collecting.

Series 4 feels like a full-circle moment for my collection. I've got pieces from the original launch through the newer series, and each one tells a story of either a park discovery or a blind-box surprise that absolutely landed. The strawberry variant I pulled yesterday has that glossy finish and perfectly soft material that makes it impossible to resist squeezing (I may have been doing that a lot since yesterday). The character pairing is so thoughtful-every Series 4 item seems designed with real Disney fan energy behind it.

For display, I'm thinking this one deserves a spot on its own small tiered riser on the kitchen shelf, front and center. I already have my Doorables floating on shelves above my desk, but the Munchlings have their own dedicated food-themed vignette situation going, and this new pull is the perfect hero piece to draw the eye. Plus, the strawberry coloring really pops against my kitchen's neutral background.
