The 1999 Sylvester PEZ Dispenser With Sunglasses Is the Cool Looney Tunes Collectible Every Warner Bros Fan Cherishes
Say Hello to Cool Cartoon Charm
When I think back to my grandmother's PEZ collection, it was the character pieces that got me hooked. The 1999 Sylvester PEZ Dispenser with Sunglasses captures exactly that playful spirit-here's the beloved Warner Bros cat in full cool-cat mode, sporting blue sunglasses that give him all the attitude.
This particular dispenser from 1999 is a Warner Bros production that stands out in any Looney Tunes collection. Sylvester's sculpt is sharp and friendly, with his classic head shape and that signature smirk. What really draws the eye is the blue sunglasses molded right onto his face-it's a small touch that elevates him from a standard Sylvester piece into something with genuine character and appeal.
Display Value and Collector Appeal
The 1999 vintage point makes this one special. That was a year PEZ really committed to the Warner Bros licensed pieces, and this Sylvester in shades has aged wonderfully in collections. The colors have held up, and the molding is clean. For display, he pairs beautifully alongside other 1999 Warner Bros dispensers-group him with a Tweety or Bugs and you've got a mini Looney Tunes shelf that tells a story.
Sylvester with those shades just feels like the cool cat of the PEZ world-the one who knew how to bring personality to candy in the 90s.
If you're building a Warner Bros collection, chasing 1999 releases, or just drawn to character pieces with personality, this Sylvester deserves a spot. He's not overly rare, which makes him accessible, but he's distinctive enough to stand out among standard catalog pieces. Collectors consistently seek him out, and for good reason.
