Yoda: The Legendary Jedi Master in Disney Infinity

Yoda: The Legendary Jedi Master in Disney Infinity

May the Force Be With You!

I have to say, getting the Disney Infinity Yoda figure in my collection was an absolute dream. When I first learned he was coming to Disney Infinity, I knew I had to have him immediately. This little green Jedi Master has stolen a special place in my heart, and I love displaying him with all my other Star Wars figures. The Disney Infinity Yoda Figure is one of the most iconic and sought-after figures in the entire Disney Infinity series.

Yoda, voiced by the legendary Tom Kane, is a Jedi Knight and senior member of the Jedi Council. He's one of the oldest members of the council, and the other masters often defer to him for the wisdom that came alongside his years. I remember watching Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back for the first time as a kid on a rainy afternoon, and I was absolutely captivated by this tiny, wise creature. His iconic line, "Do or do not, there is no try," has stayed with me my entire life. Even now, I find myself repeating it when I face challenges, which has become a running joke with my friends!

The sculpt of this figure is absolutely magnificent. Yoda's distinctive look - his wrinkled green skin, his pointed ears, and that wise, knowing expression - has been captured perfectly by the Disney Infinity sculptors. The figure stands in a confident pose, with his gnarled wooden cane held at his side. The paint work is exceptional, with careful detailing on his facial features and robes. The shade of green they chose perfectly matches the wise Jedi Master from the films, and the weathered brown of his robes really brings the character to life. He's perfectly sized at about 2.5 inches tall, which matches well with the other Star Wars figures in my collection.

In Disney Infinity 3.0, Yoda comes with some incredible gameplay abilities that made him one of my favorite characters to play. His Force-wielding powers are exceptional in combat, and his wisdom gives him unique advantages in puzzle-solving challenges. He unlocked the Dagobah Play Set, which was absolutely perfect for exploring the murky swamp where he spent his years in exile. The Dagobah environment was beautifully rendered, complete with glowing plants and mystical mist effects.

What I love most about this figure is how it represents such a pivotal moment in Star Wars history. After the Clone Wars, Yoda went into self-imposed exile on the swamp planet Dagobah, waiting for his next pupil to bring balance back to the Force. Of course, that pupil would be Luke Skywalker. As someone who grew up loving Star Wars and Disney films equally, having Yoda in both forms - the wise elder from Empire Strikes Back and the mysterious hermit from Return of the Jedi - is incredibly special to me.

Collectors absolutely treasure the Yoda figure because he's one of the rarer Star Wars characters in Disney Infinity. He's been discontinued for some time now, which makes finding him in good condition somewhat challenging. If you're a serious Star Wars or Disney fan, this is definitely one you'll want to hunt down. I'm so grateful to have him displayed on my Disney Infinity shelf, right between my Anakin and Obi-Wan figures.

Whether you're a lifelong Jedi fan, a Disney Infinity collector, or someone who just loves the magic of the Force, the Yoda figure is an absolute must-have. He captures the essence of one of cinema's greatest characters and brings him right into your hands.

I actually added this figure to my needs list in the Collectiblz app because I knew I'd need to hunt down another copy to keep mint in box! If you're looking to find rare figures like this one, you can check out my Disney Infinity needs list for other treasures I'm searching for.
