McDonald's 2026 FIFA World Cup Squishmallows - Jim the Llama
Jim the Llama Joins Kendra's World Cup Collection
If you've been following the 2026 FIFA World Cup promotions at McDonald's, you already know how exciting this Squishmallows lineup has been. Each toy celebrates the tournament happening across North America, and Jim the Llama is one of the standout characters from this international collection.
Jim himself is a charming llama plush with a soccer-inspired design. The Squishmallow features the signature soft fabric that makes these toys so huggable, with carefully detailed embroidery for his face and expressive eyes. The jersey-style graphics commemorate the World Cup theme without being heavy-handed, and the stitching quality is consistent with what I've come to expect from this line.
World Cup Collection Context
This 2026 promotion kicked off in June with 23 different Squishmallows characters available during the Happy Meal run. Jim is part of the broader international roster-not tied to a specific host country, but rather celebrating the global nature of the tournament itself. The variety means collectors can pursue the entire set, and each character brings something different in terms of design and personality.
Display and Durability
What appeals to me about these World Cup Squishmallows is how well they hold up over time. The plush material resists pilling, the seams are solid, and the embroidered details don't fade easily. I've grouped mine by theme on a high shelf in my office, and they look as fresh now as they did when I first opened them. For collectors who rotate their displays seasonally, these are durable enough to handle regular handling without showing wear.
These limited-edition World Cup ties make the whole set feel more special than your typical fast-food toy assortment. There's something about a specific promotional moment that makes collectors come back for the complete lineup.
Jim the Llama fits perfectly into any collection focused on international events or animal-themed Squishmallows. The World Cup context gives this entire series a unique moment in time, which is part of what makes fast-food collectibles so valuable to enthusiasts.
Collector Notes
If you're building the full World Cup set, Jim is definitely worth tracking down. I've added him to my needs list in the Collectiblz app because completing themed promotions brings me real joy as a collector. Whether you're a Squishmallows enthusiast, a World Cup fan, or someone who just appreciates well-made fast-food toys, Jim deserves a spot in your collection. The plush quality, the thematic connection, and the limited availability during this promotional window all combine to make this more than just another McDonald's toy-it's a small piece of a bigger collectible moment.
