Oh, where do I even start with Mike Wazowski? This little green sphere is absolutely one of my favorite Disney Infinity figures because he brings so much personality and heart to the line. The Mike Wazowski Disney Infinity Figure captures everything I adore about this character - from his iconic one massive eye to his mischievous grin.

The sculpt of this figure is just perfect. Hasbro really nailed Mike's spherical body in that beautiful light green shade, with darker green spots and details that make him instantly recognizable. His tiny horns sit proudly on top, and you can see those little claws that make him so endearing. Standing about 4 inches tall, this figure has all the charm and energy of the character himself. I absolutely adore how they captured his youthful Monsters University look with that retainer detail - it's such a sweet touch that reminds me of the college hijinks in that film.

As a Monsters University character, Mike works perfectly in the themed Play Set, but what really makes him special is his versatility. He's compatible across Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 in Toy Box mode, which means you can bring him into virtually any adventure you're creating. Plus, he's a Brawler character with some seriously fun abilities - his Super Jumper power lets him bounce around the screen, and that MU-brand megaphone attack is the perfect reference to his scaring days at Monsters, Inc. There's even that adorable moment where he breaks into his classic jig during gameplay. I remember the first time I saw that in action and just laughed - it's so wonderfully Mike!

The paint detail on this figure is just gorgeous. That emerald-colored eye absolutely pops against the light green body, and the darker spots create wonderful depth and dimension. It's one of those figures that looks fantastic on display, whether you're setting up a dedicated Monsters shelf or incorporating it into a larger Disney collection.

What I love most about Mike's character is his unwavering friendship with Sulley. As someone who grew up watching Monsters, Inc. back in 2001, I was absolutely enchanted by their bond - how two rivals became the best of friends and the most legendary scare team in history. When Monsters University came out and showed us their college days, I fell in love with Mike all over again. His determination, his humor, his refusal to give up on his dreams - it all resonates so deeply with me as a collector. As Mike would say, "I'm going to be a scarer!" And honestly? He makes that dream work.

This figure was released on August 18, 2013, at the very launch of Disney Infinity, and it's become one of my treasured pieces.
