2026 Topps Disney Neon: DJ's Funky Tune Diamante (Card #99) - Neon Vibes Cruising!
Neon Dreams Meet Funky Beats
Oh, what a treat to stumble upon the Topps Disney Neon #99 Diamante DJ! If you've ever watched Cars and found yourself grinning at the antics of Devon "DJ" Montgomery Johnston III, you know exactly why this card caught my eye. DJ is that hilarious blue Scion XB tuner car from the Delinquent Road Hazards crew, famous for his comedic villainy and his love of music - the guy literally put Mack the truck to sleep with "Songbird"! Now he's gracing this 2026 set with all the neon glamour he deserves.
DJ's got style, flair, and the kind of personality that makes Cars so memorable. Seeing him in neon form feels like his character finally got the sparkle treatment it always deserved.
What makes this card special is the stunning Topps Disney Neon visual treatment - and trust me, it's absolutely gorgeous. The 2026 Topps Disney Neon set is packed with vibrant neon aesthetics and glowing effects, and Card #99 exemplifies that perfectly. You'll notice the dynamic layering of bright colors, the neon-inspired glowing frame design, and that signature Chrome-style shine that makes the whole card pop like a Vegas marquee. The colors practically glow off the cardboard, capturing DJ's tuner-car culture energy in every pixel. This 200-card set represents a landmark moment for Topps - it's the first time they've covered so many expanded Disney properties, including Phineas and Ferb, Epic Mickey, Descendants, and Gargoyles, plus deeper cuts into Cars, WALL-E, Big Hero 6, and Treasure Planet.
Now, about rarity - this is where collectors get excited. Card #99 exists in the base set, but the real fun is in the Diamante parallels. You've got your common pulls like Rainbow Foilboard (roughly 1 in 2 packs) and numbered greens down to #/199. Then there are the mid-tier Diamante parallels: multi-colors (#/150), various golds (#/5 and up), and then the premium stuff. I'm talking Orange Diamante (#/25), Pink Diamante (#/15), Black Diamante (#/10), and Red Diamante (#/5). And if you're really chasing the dream, there are Foilfractor and Chrome Neon Etch Refractor versions - the SuperFractor is a one-of-one treasure. The Diamante parallels really showcase the neon theme, with those shimmering, colorful finishes that make DJ look like he's about to speed through a digital sunset.
I fell in love with trading cards because of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom - spell cards I still own and cherish. But neon sets like this remind me why I keep collecting: they capture characters I adore in new, unexpected ways. This DJ card feels fresh and vibrant, a far cry from the earthy tones of my spell cards, yet somehow equally magical. I've added it to my needs list in the Collectiblz app because, honestly, I can't resist a good parallel chase - especially when it's DJ bringing those funky tuner vibes to the neon. Whether you're a Cars fan, a neon aesthetic lover, or just someone who appreciates great card design, this Diamante is calling your name.
The best collections aren't just about owning cards - they're about owning the memories and joy those characters bring to our hearts.
Hunt down that DJ Diamante, whether it's the base or a glorious numbered parallel. Display it proudly alongside your other neon treasures, and let those colors shine. Your collection deserves sparkle!
