When a Goofy Pup Gets Tiny and Spotted: Rolly's Squish Alots Disney Doorables Charm!

When a Goofy Pup Gets Tiny and Spotted: Rolly's Squish Alots Disney Doorables Charm!

Oh, friend, let me tell you about one of my favorite blind-bag pulls from the Disney Doorables Squish Alots series - the adorable Rolly from 101 Dalmatians. There's something about this little guy that just captures the heart of what makes these figures so special to collect.

Rolly is one of the sweetest characters from the original 1961 animated film, best known for his insatiable appetite and oversized personality. In the Squish Alots line, he comes as a Common rarity at Bag Number 10, which means he's one of the easier pulls - but that doesn't make him any less delightful! This figure is absolutely tiny, around 1.5 inches tall, featuring those signature glossy oversized Doorables eyes that practically sparkle when you hold him up to the light.

What makes Rolly stand out visually is the care taken with his spotted coat. The designers captured his chunky, adorable build perfectly - he's got a rounder silhouette than a lot of other Doorables characters, which just adds to his charm. His coloring is classic Dalmatian: white with those iconic black spots scattered across his squishy little body. There's even a hint of pink on his nose and tongue hanging out slightly, giving him that perpetually cheerful expression from the movie. The gloss finish on his eyes really brings personality to the figure in a way that photos honestly don't do justice to.

Rolly fits into the larger Squish Alots collection, which celebrates the squishy, plush aesthetic rather than the detailed poses of earlier Doorables waves. This series has this wonderfully soft, approachable vibe - it feels like you could actually squeeze these little guys (though of course, I'd never actually do that to my collection!). The entire 101 Dalmatians subset within Squish Alots includes multiple characters from that beloved film, and collecting them together creates a cute little family display.

Here's a collector moment: I grabbed Rolly blind, not knowing which character I'd get from the bag, and when I pulled him out I genuinely squealed. That's the magic of blind boxes, right? You go in with zero expectations and come out with a character you didn't even know you needed. I marked him on my Collectiblz needs list immediately - not because I need another Rolly (though the completionist in me always wants variants), but because he's such a feel-good figure to have in rotation.

There's something about Rolly that reminds me why I started this collection in the first place. Not every pull needs to be a Ultra Rare or chase variant - sometimes the Common figures hit just as hard because of the pure character they bring.

For display, Rolly looks fantastic on a tiered acrylic riser alongside the other Squish Alots characters. The rounded, soft aesthetic of this series pairs beautifully on floating shelves above my desk, especially if you arrange them by movie franchise. I've also seen collectors create little "movie scene" displays with these, grouping characters together on a small section of shelf with a poster or printed backdrop behind them. Another fun option is a glass-front curio cabinet where the soft finish on these figures really glows under gentle lighting.

The 101 Dalmatians set has such a nostalgic pull for Disney fans - it's one of those films that shaped a generation of collectors like me. Having Rolly in physical form, even as a tiny Doorables figure, feels like keeping a piece of that childhood magic close. Every time I look at him, I remember watching the movie curled up on the couch, already dreaming about the kinds of collections I'd build someday.

If you're hunting for Squish Alots Doorables right now, don't sleep on the Common figures in the set. Rolly is proof that you don't need a rare pull to add something special to your collection. Sometimes the joy is in the character, the memory, and the pure collecting moment itself.
